So I’ve got a c section booked for Thursday 27th but if you go in for reduced movements before hands … do they bring your c section forward? Has anyone been in this situation? I’m 38 weeks tomorrow ( Sunday ) xx

It’ll depend I assume. If you go in for reduced movements and everything’s fine I should imagine your normal appointment will still stand x

It depends on availability and your and your baby’s wellbeing. If they think they should bring it forward and have the capacity to do that, they will (so I would bring your hospital bags with you in the car in case) x

I went in my last pregnancy and baby was distressed on ctg so they did the c section the same day. But if all would have been fine after monitoring they would have let me wait for the elective c section date

Not exactly the same situation but I have an induction booked for 39 weeks but went in for reduced movement last week (36 weeks) and they offered to induce me at 37 weeks, everything was ok on the monitors so I have declined but prepared that if I have another episode of reduced movement they will likely advice the same as this again. I’m 31 weeks and I think I’ve made my mind up about a vbac.
I think I’ll book in an elective for 41 weeks (as late as they’ll let me) and see if labour naturally happens before then.
I’m hoping this is the right decision but it’s difficult to differentiate fear over intuition.
Has anyone got any advice on having a vbac? How to physically prepare beforehand and in the hospital?
Just for context, there will be just under 16 months between my first and this baby

I’m 34 + 2 and I noticed when I was just in the shower that I’m starting to leak colostrum. Is it too soon to start collecting?

People talk about an energy boost and feeling more yourself in the 2nd trimester. I’m 14w3days today and still feel as tired, low and not myself as I did in the first trimester!! Did other people find this and when did you start feeling better?? xxx
