I had an episiotomy with my first baby and took at least two weeks to feel okay, but wasn't really sore when I went to the toilet more when I was sitting down and putting pressure on it. I'm 15 days pp with my second and had a tear so had stitches again, the pain still not fully gone. Just keep the area as clean as poss and change pads regularly if you're using them

Took a couple of weeks for me

I’m 8 days pp and still really sore from my episiotomy but not as bad as before. Keep on top of iburprofen and paracetamol and try leaning forward when going toilet while using a peri bottle. Always pat dry, don’t wipe!!! My midwife also said don’t try lean off it, sitting on it will help it stitch back together. You’ll feel better soon xx

It took me two weeks to feel better too. Keep up with a paracetamol as others have said. Try staying active as much as you can. Drink loads of water. Eat plenty. You’ll get there x

Binders for pregnancy?

I’m 19 weeks and my boobs before pregnancy were 30dd and now they’ve gotten even more massive and heavy. I’m non-binary and sometimes my boobs give me gender dysphoria. Usually I use binders from Spectrum Outfitters but I can’t fit into them anymore. I’m wondering if there’s any binders that are good for in pregnancy. My boobs feel like ROCKS!! I don’t even think I could achieve a flat chest with a binder but anything that can make them flatter would be nice.
I know this is a really niche question 🥲 Any help is appreciated.

Cry it out method research

Can someone send me reliable academic and peer reviewed links to research which shows that the cry it out method damages children’s mental health please.
While we haven’t and don’t plan to do CIO, I see so many comments from people stating things like it damages mental and quite frankly really horrible comments to parents asking questions about it without including the scientific evidence. It’s not fair to judge other parents choices.

Bpd

How do moms with bpd deal with it. I don’t struggle with my daughter at all but more with other people around me like the guy I’m talking to and family. I try to go without medicine but I feel like I just screw everything up. She doesn’t aggravate me or anything I just struggle with the other people. Should I go back on my medicine or is it normal to be so annoyed with people around me .

Do you cry

I know this sound like a wierd question but I'm trying to understand myself.

I barely cry over myself or my own problems. I would say probs about once a year or so when I'm feeling super overwhelmed or if I'm feeling lonely.

Don't get me wrong, show me a social media post of injustice or someones healing story and I will cry.

But like for meee.. If I'm feeling stressed, upset etc. You will never catch me crying over a man either. I've always had that oh wells what will be will be.

I'm also a very blunt and direct person. I find myself often in the position of listening to everyone's problems and giving them advice.

I just wonder if there is anyone out there similar to me....
