It's always 'they're lazy' 'parents are so lazy' 'parents thesedays are just lazy'
It's applied to every single scenario where a parent does not follow a guideline to a T. I'm tired of people assuming I'm lazy when I am fighting for my life just trying to survive each day.

Most people are trained to view things that way unfortunately. People attribute all sorts of things to laziness but once you get “woke” enough you realize laziness isn’t really even a thing, at least not in the way it’s been sold for us to believe. If people had the resources, knowledge, time, money, etc there’d be a whole lot less “lazy” people. It’s intentional wrongful messaging from gov agencies to reduce things to laziness to make everything an individual issue to distract from systemic failures. If this was inspired from that potty training post this highly relates to that as well

They haven't been humbled by parenthood yet.

Even actual parents have told me that am lazy, especially the people from my husband side Cause I won't discipline the way they did they think am being lazy or to soft. Am surviving being a mother and surviving to not be like them *-*
I am so surprised and so proud of this and I wanted to share somewhere and here seemed appropriate 🥹

My in laws are very involved in my child's life, its a lovely problem to have i guess but sometimes I feel like my MIL oversteps and takes firsts away from me. This weekend we've gone for our first family holiday with my 9 month old and they've come with us, we mentioned we wanted to buy a baby walker and she's gone off and bought one without asking or telling us first.
Her first time at the beach and she was there and strolled off with her before I got chance to. Our first time with her on the swings and she's just...there.
Same as giving her ice cream/foods/sweets whatever, she just gives it to her without asking. Idk if I'm overreacting or I feel like a bit pushed out. She's my daughter and I just wanted to do some firsts with her myself. Not sure if I'm being mean and should just get over it. How would you approach it?

I’m getting really close to saying f this relationship over money. I’m with my kids dad. We have two. He is extremely spoiled. I peeped that a long time ago. He does not like to pay bills. I make less than him but I still end up paying the majority of the bills. Like say rent for the month of August was $1100 (it’s going to be $1700 next month but we’re on a move in special that ended this month). The phone bill was due $220. I had to pay my car note car insurance and light bill. All of those were about $200 as well. This man sent me $500 which I’m only factoring into the household bills not my own bills for my car. On top of paying bills I always buy groceries. He never does. He might buy like snacks for the kids after school but no food to make meals. I feel like I’m being crushed financially and he’s getting to put money up!

I think my relationship with my baby's dad is heading towards the gutter...
Ever since having my little boy I've been struggling with being physically involved with my partner, it's almost like the idea of it repulsives me?
I've never been a very romantic person, nor have I ever been very good at being intimate (due to abuse from a previous relationship).
Lately it feels like he's pressuring me into being intimate, and saying I don't love him because I can't do it. I've explained to him many times about how I'm feeling but it just doesn't seem to change anything. He even said he feels like we're just friends at this point.
He's aware of my past issues, and has no issues with that. I've had therapy for my past, but this seems different?
I don't know what I'm hoping for from this post, just feel like I need to air out how I'm feeling!
I've had a "breakdown" today, not that he found out. Just don't feel I have anyone to talk to about it

This is going to sound awful. And please I do not want to be judged. Im feeling very overwhelmed the last couple of days. My partner has been working non stop (fine because the bills need paying) my 5 month old is very whiney. I put her down she whines, i pick her up she whines, rolls onto her tummy whines. And this is going to sound even worse and its as if im a bad mum. I do t know the difference between her tired or hungry cry, they sound the same to me. Its awful, I do everything i can and im feeling really stressed and low about it today. I know im a good mum I do everything to tey and keep her happy. Shes constant on the go, I dont know what else to do!! I just need to vent. Sorry and again please dont judge

How do you guys deal with when your husband doesn’t want to help take care of your kids?
We are first time parents our son is now 5 months and my husband hasn’t helped in almost 4 months he says he can’t take the baby crying or the screeching. So I’ve been doing everything on my own while working and being in college and taking care of our son.
