I’m just over 33 weeks and baby boy normally moves around a-lot throughout the day, mainly more active at night but he seems to be more quiet in the day over the past few days? And moved at night still but feeling like there’s a difference
Any advice?

If pattern of movement has changed I would contact triage for advice.

Ok thank you!

Text our call you’re midwife if not get yourself to the triage , have you tried eating something sugary our having a iced cold drink xx

Agree - call triage for sure

Hey! If you feel like something has changed or just doesn’t feel quite right, I’d definitely go and get checked out. I was feeling the same a few weeks ago and everything was absolutely fine. They monitored me for a little while and then got me in for a scan the next day, which honestly made me feel so much more reassured.
They never once made me feel like I was wasting their time either. They actually said that if I ever feel like something is different or the baby’s usual movement pattern has changed, just call. I rang the Pregnancy Assessment Unit and they were really helpful.
I was told at my 32 week scan they found a second placenta. The first is anterior high. When I had my scan the sonographer said the second one was very low and posterior. She said it was wrapped around the bottom and completely covering the front.
The notes just say posteriorly so I’m a little confused. I spoke with the triage team who said to wait until my next scan where they will measure to see where it is and if it’s covering or close to the cervix I will need a c-section at 36 weeks.
My next scan I will be 36 +2 days so that won’t be helpful! I will go into the hospital tomorrow am for clarification but didn’t know if anyone else has experienced this and what to expect.
My mother in law is coming to stay with us when I would be 41 weeks and my partner has booked 2 weeks off work before she comes. Obviously times won’t work out now but will I be ok, home alone if he takes the first 2 weeks off and
I have no other help before mother in law comes?

I think im 10dpo and i feel I can see a very faint line. Can anyone see this too or is my eyes playing tricks on me? I feel when I move the test I can see it, then some moments I can’t and then it’s back. I’m not sure if it’s my eyes just wanting to see a line? Another photo in comments

Did anyone have a planned c-section but still feel traumatised after? All I see is people saying how calm & relaxed they felt but I was absolutely terrified. I couldn’t eat for 2 weeks after birth due to shock! I just want to know if anyone else feels the same as it’s a lonely feeling.

When I was 19 I had a miscarriage, I was only 5 weeks pregnant so very early on.
it’s not something many people know about, my mum knows as she was there with me while It happened and looked after me for the duration of it. 8 months later I fell pregnant with my daughter. She’s 4 now.
The other day my daughter and I are talking and she randomly goes ‘mummy I have a big sister’ I didn’t think anything of it at the time so I just said ‘oh do you darling’ she then goes ‘yeah I have a big sister and she protected me’. My mum was round at the time and we both looked at each other like ‘what’ ..
I then had a weird feeling I said to my daughter ‘how do you know that’ she just shrugged her shoulders and said ‘just do’ and then she walked off with her toys and never mentioned it again. At first I was so confused but then i thought about my miscarriage.
I can’t help but think does my daughter actually know something. I never found out the gender obviously as it was so early on but it is possible she could have had a big sister. Or is it her just talking random childhood rubbish, I mean we all know kids can come out the most bazaar nonsense sometimes . I don’t know really , what do you think. I just thought it was a strange thing for her to just come out with.
