I was told at my 32 week scan they found a second placenta. The first is anterior high. When I had my scan the sonographer said the second one was very low and posterior. She said it was wrapped around the bottom and completely covering the front.
The notes just say posteriorly so I’m a little confused. I spoke with the triage team who said to wait until my next scan where they will measure to see where it is and if it’s covering or close to the cervix I will need a c-section at 36 weeks.
My next scan I will be 36 +2 days so that won’t be helpful! I will go into the hospital tomorrow am for clarification but didn’t know if anyone else has experienced this and what to expect.
My mother in law is coming to stay with us when I would be 41 weeks and my partner has booked 2 weeks off work before she comes. Obviously times won’t work out now but will I be ok, home alone if he takes the first 2 weeks off and
I have no other help before mother in law comes?

Hello.
I am curious did they say why you have 2 placentas?
Also my husband took the first two weeks off from the day I had a c -section and we was fine.
I didn’t have anyone else helping me.
By day 3-4 I stopped taking pain medication and by day 6 I was food shopping.
I just recommend relaxing with your baby and get your partner to change nappies and make milk of your not breastfeeding. If the house needs cleaning then your partner can do it after work…..
Relax for the first 6-8 weeks and not picking anything up besides baby otherwise you can do damage to your stomach etc.

I've had two c sections. One at 41+5 and one at 34 weeks (with twins). You'll will be fine. The first few days you will want to stay in bed and do only short walks around your house (going to the bathroom, going to the dinner table, etc.). With my first c section, I got a pretty bad infection. Even then, by two weeks, I felt completely normal.

I had a bilobed placenta, so they weren't 2 separate ones as they had a connecting vessel, but neither of them were low.
When you've only got 1, it's normal to do a scan around 36 weeks and see if it has moved, and then plan a c section for 1-2 weeks after. It sounds like yours won't move though if it's completely covering and wrapped front to back then it's not going to suddenly move out of the way, so personally id be preparing for a c section within a week of that scan.
Your partner's paternity leave can start as soon as baby is born, so he doesn't need to wait for annual leave to have time off work. I was fine caring for baby within a couple of days. I didn't do any housework for weeks, just focused on looking after me and baby
just doing a research piece , was your pregnancy any different whilst pregnant ?

I had a first costume party birthday theme for my daughters first birthday and it was at my boyfriend’s mother’s house and she cancelled it because she’s mad I’m pregnant again with our third! I been planning this party all year! Now I haven’t been to the city long and don’t know anybody to invite and I’m so heartbroken 😞💔

Recently, sex has been painful during penetration. Something is being tough at the top, and it doesn’t feel good. I’m thinking it might be related to the yeast infection I recently had, but I’m not sure.
It’s not about deep penetration or rough sex he can put it in slowly. If he touches that specific spot at the top, it’s super comfortable.
Just wondering if anybody else knows what I’m talking about or can relate to this.

Pretty sure my babies 6 week growth spurt has started a week early, this weekend has really tested me 😭 I’ve had to order food every day because my son won’t let me put him down for 5 minutes to make even a quick meal 😭 He fights sleep as well and sometimes not even the breast settles him. He has been so unsettled the entire weekend I’m praying it gets better 😩😭

I think im 10dpo and i feel I can see a very faint line. Can anyone see this too or is my eyes playing tricks on me? I feel when I move the test I can see it, then some moments I can’t and then it’s back. I’m not sure if it’s my eyes just wanting to see a line? Another photo in comments
