Husband working shifts (healthcare)

We’ve been very lucky to have spent 6 weeks together as a family of 3 before my husband goes back to work tomorrow (4 nights in a row). Just wondering if anyone else’s partner does shifts and which shifts worked best for you as a family. It’s either he will be on long days 3x a week or nights 3/4x a week.

Me. My husband is in the police. When we had our eldest at the end of 2019, he was working 6 on 4 off. Now he works 4 on 4 off. 3 weeks of days and 1 week of nights. My husband just had 5 weeks off with me, eldest and newborn.

My husband and I have already said with this baby that if he is on days he will take the early morning feed. If he is on nights he will do the middle of the night. It is finding a balance and routine with the shifts.

For me it helped because we had 4 days off together rather than 2. Happy to be a supportive ear if you need someone who is in the same situation for a second time.

I'll be in the same boat from tomorrow!! He'll be doing 4, 12x hr shifts in a row 😭 we've just had 7 weeks together x

Does anyone wear condoms with their husband? I personally don’t and just curious if there are married couples out there who do.

Cheating

I found out my husband was cheating during pregnancy and postpartum. Now I don’t ask for sex, I avoid conversations about our relationship. I don’t give a fuck anymore. He says I’ve been rude and don’t care if he’s dead or alive.
What else can I do to make his life a living hell?

PPD

i’m 19 with a 9 month old girl who actually just turned 9 months today! i haven’t been back to work yet because i’ve been struggling extremely with postpartum depression, anxiety, and rage . i want to work to help my boyfriend out with finances but we also don’t have much people to watch her. i don’t know what to do. it’s hard to find a job, it’s hard to make money. but he’s extremely sweet with everything and the nicest person i’ve ever met. ANY ideas?

These four walls 😵‍💫

I’m so ready to start working again, partly because I’m struggling rn but I don’t think I could be a SAHM because I like to be able to not only get a break but also keep busy other than just taking care of baby GOD knows I love her so much, so I guess that’s a pro & con that I’m single mom I guess because currently I’ve been SAHM & surviving by the grace of god 😭 BUT IM SO READY TO GET OUT THIS HOUSE & PPD DONT make it any better.
