Perhaps I’m being over emotional as I’m currently 30 weeks pregnant with our second baby, but I feel like I’d actually have more time to myself if we separated and had joint custody. My partner of 5 years spends all of his time gaming and as little as possible with our LB. If we do anything at the weekends, it’s only because I’ve planned it and made him come along, but as soon as we are home he’ll disappear back upstairs leaving me to keep house and entertain our son. If I need to go out without our toddler for any time, he’ll begrudgingly supervise by sitting him in front of the telly all day and chase me for a return time. He doesn’t do naps, rarely does bedtime (always seems to find a reason to give up and loose his patience) and even complains about nursery pick ups even though he generally gets home long before me. He desperately wanted kids when we met and his previous marriage failed due to fertility issues. I’m not a confrontational person and don’t want to nag him to be present in our lives. I’ve tried addressing this before and he says he knows he has an addiction, gets better for a few weeks then goes straight back to it.
Also, he’s messaging a woman on WhatsApp constantly - apparently she’s just someone who he games with but I’m struggling to ignore it as he’s giving her more attention than us.

I don’t think you are being overly emotional, this would really upset me too. And personally messaging another woman constantly would be a big boundary for me. So sorry you’re going through this is must be really hard 😔 my husband was an avid gamer and used to spend a lot of time gaming before we had our daughter, but rightly so this is now very limited and she is his priority - yes you need time for hobbies but I think children and partners should come first x

God I’d be so mad, sorry but this is an absolutely awful situation!! He’s taking the absolute piss!!
I am needing new ideas for snacks and meals for my 18 month old. He's typically a pretty good eater but we struggle getting him to eat protein. Looking for some healthy high protein/ high fat ideas that might not end up on the floor 😆.
No allergies and the only things he really refuses are eggs, and any kind of unground meat.

Hello ladies. I am scheduled to travel alone with my son this October on a 14 hour flight.
Looking for tips specifically on below:-
- navigating airport. I suppose it’s not possible to bring a cabin trolley luggage since I have to push a stroller at the same time. How to pack baby essentials?
- on flight - the flight will take off at 9pm. What time should I put my son to sleep? What do I entertain him on a 14 hour flight?
- any other thoughts / recommendations?
Thanks in advance!

My husband and I are going on a cruise this weekend. I saw that my son was potentially unable to go because we couldn't get his passport on time. I got excited. SO excited. I love my son more than life itself.. but a 4 day vacation without him felt like paradise...
Until my cousin told my husband that we could just use his birth certificate. I was so pissed and frustrated. This vacation is costing us $2000+. I wanted to be able to enjoy it. Now I feel ungrateful and a bad mom knowing he'll be coming. He's 4.. and severely hyperactive. I won't enjoy myself at all. Literally all I'm looking forward to now is the unlimited liquor 😂😅.
I'm also an introvert. I'm going with my family. *Heavily extroverted people*
I hate myself for wishing he wouldn't be there.. am I alone on this?

Hi looking for some mum advice!
My little boy has his 12 month jab today and my husband is on annual leave for the next two weeks and wants to book a holiday for us to go away.
I’m nervous anyway as will be first abroad holiday but now hearing stories about the side effects of the jabs and wondering whether the timing is awful for my little boy.
Would you go on holiday (Spain most likely) in the days after the 1 year jabs or is that just asking for trouble?

Hi moms - need some advice. Me and partner are in desperate need to have just the one night together.
We love our daughter so dearly we don’t want to leave her, but obviously after one year of not sleeping together only us in the same bed we miss each other a lot. Even our wedding night we shared a bed with her as she was so young - so no wedding sex 🤣
We sleep with her and she is our everything. But we are also a couple, and we both see and feel the need for just us time.
Just everytime I think about the thought of leaving her for the night (with grandparents who know her so well), I feel guilty! How did you handle the situation of night away from your baby? Like, without thinking about them the entire time!
