My 3 year is holding thier pee and poop and is stressing me out cause I don't want her to get uti. I do approach it calmly and on Saturday she did such a good job with the potty. Even went on her on,but on Sunday she went back to holding it. I would not get mad,but would explain things. She peed on her blanket and i would calmly tell her we have to wash it. That if she wants to use her blanket she can't pee on it and has to use the potty. She peed when we were on the pool. I told her we can't pee in the pool and were done playing. I have told her before whay to do if he feels like peeing in the pool. She makes a look or does a small wiggle. I tell her she has to listen to her body. She goes to prek and would pee and poop, but out of nowhere she is holding even at school. How do i help her. I feel so bad. her teacher made it clear i need to be consistent. She would sit on it,but nothing just accidents or holding it in. Am ok with the accidents is the holding in that am worried. I dosent help, that i feel pressured to be consistent

Awww. Can you offer a reward for when she uses the toilet? We’re doing chocolate (I know some ppl won’t agree but works for us and it’s only a tiny bit 🤣)
Yes we do rewards, i still give it to her even if no pee would happen. I sadly even had to tell her if u want to play outside u have to use the potty. I even read if kids have a toy in thier hand it should help.relax like play dough.

I left mine naked and would set a timer every 15 mins. Thank God for hard wood floors. It was a lot of accidents but eventually she got the hang of it. She wasn't 100% until 4
Am not a fan of the naked method and I live with my in-laws, they told.me not to do that. She wears undies and she loves them. What ise to help a lot was a Pokémon gummy that I would buy, we literally lived next to a 7 eleven, but they stop selling them in the beginning of the month

I would stop giving the reward unless she actually does a wee or poo. Or give a different reward for example one choc button for sitting, 2 for a wee, 4 for a poo. Give her something she wants and wants more of. She needs to know what it is she is getting the reward for. Explain to her the new rules. Ask her why she does it in her pants and say you don’t like getting wet do you? You don’t like it when I need to clean you up. Explain that you don’t like it either and that you two as a team need to try using the potty/toilet because she’s a big girl now.
Sitting my son down and having a straight conversation with him finally got it into his head. Before that I feel like my son liked that when he had an accident, he then got my attention when I was cleaning up. After we had the conversation I changed my attitude when cleaning up. I used to say ‘it’s ok don’t worry just an accident’ but changed to saying where does wee and poo need to go?
My husband 'accidentally' binned and washed my sourdough starter. I can't believe it was an accident because its nearly a year old, it has literally been sitting in our kitchen for a year! He says I left it near the sink so he just assumed it was to get washed out. I had just baked this morning and had left it near the sink, but not at the sink if that makes sense. We have a designated area that dishes usually get left before they get cleaned and it was nowhere near there.
Also he claims he didn't know what it was. He has seen me make bread a billion times. He has eaten the bread a billion times. It had been sitting on the kitchen counter for a year! 🥴 I said to him he should have asked if he wasn't sure instead of just assuming I wanted to get rid of it, but his excuse is he didn't know I was using it/or what it was and I hadn't even thanked him for cleaning up after me. I was going to clean up, but we had two children who I was also tending to at the same time.
I know I can make another one but it's just annoying, I was proud of myself for keeping it this long and it was a really great starter. I also feel like he's done it on purpose because we have been arguing a lot lately about who does what in the house. We both work, but I WFH part time so it seems to him that I'm just home all the time doing 'nothing'. We have a 1yo and a 4yo, 4yo goes to nursery in the mornings and 1yo goes to granny's, I work 4hrs every morning and then I pick up both kids and have them for the rest of the day. I do all the meals, all the cleaning, all the laundry, all the extracurricular activities, all the shopping, manage our bills. My husband works full time 9-5, comes home, he helps with bath time and bedtime and acts as if he's done it all. It drives me insane.

So my partner used to work in a bar. But he quit because of me. Months later he just text me sayin his boss text him sayin they are short staffed and could he do a one off this weekend. I said I was not happy at all about this. As I know it will just be full of drunk girls flirting. What do I do??

I just had an occupational therapy home visit and the lady watched how she was for an hour and a bit n she jist keot saying how risky her behaviour is, shows no understanding, breaks out of everything and climbs everything and strong and agressive and she suggested if i need a cuppa tea or I want to take 5 mims without being attacked, jumped on or being there with her with my arms out ready to catvh her next impulse or injury then i should. She said even put her in it to watch tv whilst you do what ever ypu need to do. She has a condition that means her walking outside isnt good and flares up and she can get stiff but other than that she is the most hyperactive, strongest most impulsive child that cannot stay still, engage in any play or calm down at all she is destructive and agressive and thats ehy it was said. What would you do? Right now she is like it from 6am until 9pm and throughout the night too.she also has a safety bed she can escape. She has no speech and no understanding like 0

I’m trying not worry as I know they can go through phases where very little gets eaten. However I feel like I’m living with an air plant! He’s not poorly, no new teeth and is other wise ok. Except for the usual toddler mood swings that are definitely getting exasperated by him probably being hungry. Yesterday was a good food day and he was definitely happier which is also incredibly frustrating. I’m listening and looking out for hunger signs and I’ve being kind by giving him all his fail safe favourites but he’s only happy eating sliced ham, cucumber, carrot sticks, pears and berries.
Tomorrow I’m trying a different tactic and just going to try him with loads of new foods to see if that sparks any sorta curiosity. It’s hard not to worry when they only graze on very little throughout the day.
Any words of comfort would be appreciated 🥺
