My LG is 14 months old. She only accepts snacks (and not even all of them.. she used to be a bottomless pit of blueberries). even when she gets super hungry and accept a proper meal she’ll start eating, be super excited about it and I’ll think yay she likes the food, but then she’ll eat 2 bites and be all done! And of course it’s affecting her sleep and she wakes up demanding milk in the middle of the night
This started since Monday and I’m not sure if it’s teething or what’s happening. Anyone going through this??

My guess would be teething.. we're currently going through a food strike from teething.

We have been through that too. I think it's when the molars are coming through because it seems to happen for a few days at a time. And just like you said she was refusing even her favourite foods and would only have a few snacks/ small meals. But then she seems to make up for it when it passes so I've tried not to worry when it happens now. Hopefully won't be too long for your little one!

I’d say teething also, or just developmental. It’s around now they start showing big preferences to things or just asserting their dominance by refusing 😂
My little girls does this alllllll the time.
Used to love bananas, then last week won’t even hold or look at one. This week eating them like they are going out of business.
She had one day where alll she would accept from me was rice cakes 😂
They say try and not look at the food intake over just a day.. look at it over a week or two as a few days here and there really don’t matter. All you can do is keep offering etc.
I will add, which is a mistake that backfired for me. I was worried about how little she was taking that I was kind of always just offering things I knew she would take e.g. yogurt etc throughout the day. Which ruined our meal schedule which was a lot harder for us at least to get back on track.
I am needing new ideas for snacks and meals for my 18 month old. He's typically a pretty good eater but we struggle getting him to eat protein. Looking for some healthy high protein/ high fat ideas that might not end up on the floor 😆.
No allergies and the only things he really refuses are eggs, and any kind of unground meat.

Hello ladies. I am scheduled to travel alone with my son this October on a 14 hour flight.
Looking for tips specifically on below:-
- navigating airport. I suppose it’s not possible to bring a cabin trolley luggage since I have to push a stroller at the same time. How to pack baby essentials?
- on flight - the flight will take off at 9pm. What time should I put my son to sleep? What do I entertain him on a 14 hour flight?
- any other thoughts / recommendations?
Thanks in advance!

My husband and I are going on a cruise this weekend. I saw that my son was potentially unable to go because we couldn't get his passport on time. I got excited. SO excited. I love my son more than life itself.. but a 4 day vacation without him felt like paradise...
Until my cousin told my husband that we could just use his birth certificate. I was so pissed and frustrated. This vacation is costing us $2000+. I wanted to be able to enjoy it. Now I feel ungrateful and a bad mom knowing he'll be coming. He's 4.. and severely hyperactive. I won't enjoy myself at all. Literally all I'm looking forward to now is the unlimited liquor 😂😅.
I'm also an introvert. I'm going with my family. *Heavily extroverted people*
I hate myself for wishing he wouldn't be there.. am I alone on this?

Hi looking for some mum advice!
My little boy has his 12 month jab today and my husband is on annual leave for the next two weeks and wants to book a holiday for us to go away.
I’m nervous anyway as will be first abroad holiday but now hearing stories about the side effects of the jabs and wondering whether the timing is awful for my little boy.
Would you go on holiday (Spain most likely) in the days after the 1 year jabs or is that just asking for trouble?

Hi moms - need some advice. Me and partner are in desperate need to have just the one night together.
We love our daughter so dearly we don’t want to leave her, but obviously after one year of not sleeping together only us in the same bed we miss each other a lot. Even our wedding night we shared a bed with her as she was so young - so no wedding sex 🤣
We sleep with her and she is our everything. But we are also a couple, and we both see and feel the need for just us time.
Just everytime I think about the thought of leaving her for the night (with grandparents who know her so well), I feel guilty! How did you handle the situation of night away from your baby? Like, without thinking about them the entire time!
