Either pump a little to relieve some of the pressure, but be careful not to do too much as to cause an oversupply, otherwise warmed (to help with let down) and cooled (to soothe engorgement) flannels massively helped for me

I’ve just had two lots of mastitis due to engorgement, I would hand express between feeds to release some pressure just a little don’t completely empty, and I used ice packs in my bra for the lumpy/swollen bits (not on nipple) for nipple I used lansinoh cream, engorgement is tough but if you don’t express it could turn into mastitis which is not nice 😩

I bought the heating and cooling pads from Amazon that I found helped me when the boobs were sore just to take the edge off a little bit

Hydrogel patches for sore nipples are a game changer, so much better than nipple cream! I used to find hand expressing a little (especially in a warm shower) helped with the engorgement, as well as cool compresses. It gets better ❤️

Nipple creams or silverets Haaka is good to help sooth without pumping alot.. you can also pump to relieve just dont empty your breast or your body will think it needs to produce more .. it does get better just takes time unfortunately...

If you pump you can use milk in babys bath, babys skin for rashes, breastmilk jewelry ect so its worth saving even if you dont plan to ever give a bottle x

coconut oil for the nipple pain helped me so much!! worked way better than the lansinoh nipple cream for me, and as for engorgement i had it so bad when it was day 3, i recommend pumping or even just hand expressing just enough to ease the engorgement, i also just gently massaged any lumps
