First time pregnancy here, pregnant with mono di twin girls 🥰 I've been noticing this debate between vaginal birth's and C-section's. I'm seeing that a lot of people only see vaginal births as natural and not C-section's. I personally see them both as natural births. I'm scheduled for a C-section but may have a vaginal one just depending on which way the babies are turned. My husband and MIL wants me to deliver vaginally and I'm like I just want my babies to get here safely regardless.
Is it just me or are people too damn invested in vaginal deliveries? All respectful opinions welcomed!

I really don't think it should matter how a baby gets here as long as they're safe and healthy. The thing that winds me up is 'c section is the easy way out' - I never wanted a c section but being in labour for 48 hours and not progressing enough and it turning into a c section wasn't the easy way out 😬 but yeah in short I do think that people are too damn invested in vaginal deliveries.

I really don’t think it’s anyone’s business outside your own how you choose to give birth. If you want a c-section, get a c-section! If you want vaginal, try for vaginal!
I tried for a vaginal birth for 72 hours before I had a c-section. I had a few things going on medically that required an induction and I didn’t progress. Those things are more likely to happen again if I go through another pregnancy. If that is the case, I will definitely choose a c-section.

I had a c-section with my mono-di twins. I would have chosen differently if I had the chance, but their safety was at risk and I had to deliver at 34 weeks. Healthy mom and babies are all that matters. Everyone else and their opinions can fuck off
What are your gender predictions. Obviously I know it’s too early to be certain but just curious of what you all think

Post partum 10 months and began Tirzepatide for weight loss… I was today years old finding out injecting in the site of lower stomach can affect how medicine absorbs in your body due to C section scar tissue. Anyone else hear this? Any mamas currently taking GLP-1?

I had a baby in January last year, and had an elective cesarean (as he was measuring big and they didnt want me to go too far past my due date, and I decline induction as my body wasnt showing any signs of being ready for labour). My experience was very calm and my recovery was very good so it was really positive.
Fast forward to now, and Im pregnant with my second, due in November, when my eldest will be 22 months. My midwife is starting to talk to me about birth preferences. She said I can have either a cesarean again or vaginal delivery. There are currently no other factors at play to mean medically Id be better off with one or the other, so assuming everything continues to progress as it has so far, its up to me.
What was everyone's experience second time round? Im so torn on what to go for. Having another elective is appealing having a little one at home as it means I can have some control over the date a childcare.. but then Im also worried about having another cesarean and not being able to do as much with my eldest in the earlier days whilst Im recovering, and I'm conscious of trying to make the transition for him welcoming his new sister as smooth as I can.
Im very lucky to have a very supportive and handson husband who will be having 5-6 weeks off work, and plenty of family near by to help where needed.
What would you choose and why?

Has anyone applied for a passport for their newborn yet? How did you find the process? Did it arrive in reasonable time?

Is anyone else experiencing period pains? I’m 35 weeks + 4 days I’m due the 25th of September, since around 1pm this afternoon I’ve been having period pains that are coming and going. This is my second baby and I didn’t experience this feeling and she was overdue. Should I be worried? I have had a busy day of cleaning and staying active
