Lightweight stroller

Super undecided between Joolz Aer2 and Bugaboo Butterfly 2 as our travel/lightweight stroller. I prefer the reclining system on the Butterfly but love how lighter and more compact the Joolz is when folded.

What’s your take?

We have the butterfly 2 , space wise my 4 month old is so comfy in it and so is her brother who is 2 1/2 years old . I was torn between the two and chose the butterfly 2 . I actually tend to use it as our everyday now if we are not using our double pram .

We had the Joolz for a couple weeks for our 7 month old and absolutely hated it. The straps are ridiculous and constantly need resetting when moving the back up and down. We returned to John Lewis and got the iCandy Pip instead. Have used it daily plus two trips to Florida. Great to get on the plane and whilst out there. Definitely recommend that x

We bought the butterfly 2 for an air travel a month ago and I won’t say it is very compact and defenitely not on the lighter side.
1) We had to check it in for some of the flights which meant we didn’t have a buggy during connection. But that might be purely airline space issue rather than buggy size.
2) I doubt easyJet would allow this pram in their cabin to be honest.
3) the strap on this pram is also very high and the padding doesn’t slide down so baby often has red marks on his neck if he is leaning on one side (son is 1 year old and on the taller side!)
4) comfort wise absolutely agree it is light weight to push, wheels are pleasant to push.
5) the seating space for baby is huge which was our main deciding factor compared to the other prams.

Looking back I might choose the Toyo pram for travel as they are absolutely light weight, compact and easy to carry ( bro has it and should have considered that instead)

All these infos might be confusing so I just went to mamas and papas and put the prams next to each other sat baby in and pushed around, carried, folded and decided in the end based on my preference. Because it is soooooo confusing!

Also I must add for a daily pram butterfly is great as they also have the biggest storage under the seat for shopping etc…

Genuine Question About Tracking

How many of you tracked feeds, sleep, and diapers vs just feeding on demand (bottle or breast) and following baby's cues? For those that tracked - may I ask why/ if it helped in some specific way?

Co sleeping

Going through 4 month regression and I’m so tired. I want to co sleep but my baby was born at 36 weeks. So the advice is not to co sleep. I don’t know what to do

Sleep!

Anyone any tips for preventing this? He’s just turned 4 months and keeps rolling to his side in his sleep and walking up really unsettled, I try put him on his back and he just goes straight back over, I’m obviously worried about suffocation if he can’t one day manage to get himself back on his back

Getting out

Any tips on just getting out more with the baby? She is 3 months old and fights her naps terribly, so once she’s tired she will just scream and in the house I have to stand and rock her so I worry about going out because she will scream in the car and when out in public but I’m going crazy being in the house or just wandering around the streets. It’s really starting to affect me 😢

Sleeping through

My baby is 11 weeks tomorrow and still hasn’t slept through. I know they’re all different but my first born was sleeping through at around 6/7 weeks so I did expect it by now 😂 he’s formula fed and his wake times vary but last night his last evening feed was at 11pm so I expected a longer stretch than 2:30 🫠 anyone’s baby sleeping through more often than not yet? I’d love just one full night 😣
