Yes. This! And also everyone will be parenting your child and telling them off. Your village has to align with you and you have to align with the village.

I don’t want a village so I don’t complain about not having one haha. Simple enough you can’t have it both ways 😂

Eh I think you can have a village and still have boundaries or respect that parents will parent how they wish

You can have a village without judgemental people and while having boundaries. People are there to help, being judgemental or ignoring the parents wishes is not helpful. In a village you give back, walls are lowered, but you certainly aren't a doormat for the villagers either. I see some people push mothers to accept disrespectful behaviors from their village just because they're receiving some help but that isn't how it works either, people don't get to treat you poorly just because they helped with your children. Being a villager for someone doesn't give you the entitlement to move however you want when it comes to them and their child. As much as mothers need to learn how to accept help from a village, villagers also need to learn how to help without becoming overbearing.
This is me and my little hiker 🥾🤎
We love hiking and we’re looking for some new places to explore in the UK!
Any other hiking mums on here with little hiking buddies? Where have you been that you’d really recommend with little ones? We’d love some ideas for our next adventure 🥰✨

My husband and I (my daughters dad) got married a few weeks ago. We’ve booked a honeymoon next month. We’re only going away for 4 nights because I didn’t want to leave our daughter.
She’s 2yo (+ 3 months) and she will be staying with my parents who are INCREDIBLE, very hands-on with her. She is with them two days a week while I work so she sees them a lot & adores them, and they her. I trust them fully. I just feel so guilty.
I’ve happily revolved my life around her. I work in a school, 9am - 3pm, 3 days a week and have school holidays. So I spend a lot of time with her
I’ve had two mums tell me they could never leave their child like this
Am I doing the wrong thing?
