Hey ladies, just wondering if anyone has recently had a baby at Ninewells hospital? I'm working on the hospital bag and I don't know what to bring for baby! I had my first born two years ago and completely forgot what they provide for the baby in terms of nappies etc.

Had my little girl in ninewells 20months ago. Make sure to pack a fan as the wards are always roasting hot. Extra long phone charger.
They do give nappies but I took my own anyway.. and had little bags of cotton wool made up for she too. for formula they provide aptilmil, cow and gate, SMA from the top of my head. If you’re planning to use anything else take with you

I had my boy 4 and a half months ago but I was pretty organised and brought everything I needed

Had my daughter 10 months ago and they have nappies, cotton wool, formula, if you need to stay in they can provide breast pumps if you are pumping or breastfeeding and they have pads.

I had my baby in February, we had to stay for a few days so despite having packed a few nappies I ended up not having enough (not only nappies but pads for myself as well) and they had it all there. I guess they’d have everything you’d need but you need to ask!

They provide nappies and wipes, and everything else like that we needed! It was hotter than the sun though, I had my baby in February and had to send my husband home to get shorts for me

Hey! 👋🏻 I had my baby there 3 weeks ago! Ninewells provide nappies but I did take my own in, I took my own wipes as I know they offer cotton wool & water to clean bums, they provided me formula & teets for bottles, I got given a dummy in thr NICU unit but wasn't given one on the ward. They also have a bit where you can get hats blanets and cardgins too for baby!

I just had my baby there 5 days ago, defo pack a fan!!! I got one off amazon that you can wrap the legs around any surface etc, god send as the ward was beyond roasting !!!!! I had it wrapped round my husbands thigh in front of me during labour whilst I was bouncing on the ball 😂😂
My baby is formula fed and they supplied all the formula and I believe they have different types, they provide nappies, wipes, pads for yourself and towels for shower etc, quite helpful!!
I go to get induced Sunday night with my baby girl! What are your induction stories? Anything I should know?

Hey girls, I had a c section last Tuesday so I’m currently on day 3 of recovery and I do not know how to cope. I feel like I can’t do anything, move , laugh, cough and it’s absolutely horrible. I had a mental breakdown when I first got home today from the hospital as I just felt so useless and in so much pain. I’ve had everything checked over and it’s completely healthy I just think it’s all in the brain. Any tips? As I think I’m losing my mind

Hi, I’m 11 weeks it’s 1am and I went to the toilet and wiped pink, I’m also having cramping. I had a miscarriage in May. Baby was healthy at an 8 week scan. I’m on the phone to NHS 24 but sitting on hold. Does anyone have a reassurance about this?

Hi All!
I am SO excited and feeling very grateful that we have an early scan in a couple of days. I'll be around 7 weeks 6 days. Will this be an internal scan or over the tummy?
