What is the best way to bathe a baby over 6 months old who has outgrown their current baby bath ?

Depending on how stable your baby is, we used a baby bath seat from 6months, in our normal bath, we still held them at first, then just did bath as normal. Added toys etc x
If confidently sitting, we have popped down a large slip proof mat and let baby roam free in the bath. Make the depth about as deep as the middle of my hand / so she can lay down without her face being submerged x
Lay in a shallow bath on a non slip mat
I just used the bathtub! Coulle inches water in the bottom and kept my arm under his head at all times. My LO outgrew the baby bath very quickly as he is very long. We didnt find the bath seats useful either to be honest. Can't wash them properly as the seat is in the way. Also heard that they can be dangerous as can tip if the suction comes away

What freebies are people finding? I plan on getting a lot of things from car boots and baby markets to help with costs but if there’s anything else i’d appreciate hearing about them! xx

I love my son more than anything on this earth, but fuck me. I am so sick of the constant hitting and constant screaming, this has been going on for weeks now and I’m so drained with it. He’s starting nursery soon and I already know I’m going to end up constantly filling out incident forms due to the hitting🫩

Needing Advice
How did you get through newborn times and being alone? My postpartum anxiety has been crazy and when my baby cries I get so overwhelmed rn. In a week I am going to be alone as a SAHM and am feeling so nervous and unprepared for what’s to come. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also if any of you are pumping moms, how do you pump while caring for baby?

i know it’s a big no no, but i want to sleep with my 2 mo old so badly. i would do so safely. no pillows, id be on my back and she would be swaddled. anyone here cosleep? how? how old is your baby?
