I had my first baby via c section on April 6 2026. At 40 weeks.
I want to conceive again September 2027. However I am a bit fearful about it because I’ve heard about all the complications and the possibility of having another c section. I have the iud currently in place to prevent pregnancy until I’m ready again.
My pregnancy was absolutely perfect no sickness or complications and very healthy with no risks… up until the last second when I needed the emergency c section after being medically induced. Happy to answer any questions but mostly looking for answers.

You want to give birth in September 27 or conceive in September 27? If conceive, there is nothing to worry about. If give birth, this is a really tight window and no physician would recommend birth that soon after a c section.

The problem was probably the induction plenty of woman are able to have a vbac (vaginal birth after c section) I would talk to your doctor and see what they think, if you choose to have another baby and your doctor thinks a c section is the best option they’ll schedule it as soon as you know your pregnant most likely so you’ll have a lot of time to prepare for another c section and it won’t be as scary, planned c sections are safer than emergency ones too

I had my first son via emergency c section in 2024 then had my second son via elective c section in 2025 and due my last and final son in 4 days having another c section - I. Never had any issues with having c sections so close together but everyone’s diffrent speak to your Docotr my first 2 pregancys where amazing this time round because I’m only days away iv been so poorly it’s unbelievable
What was your recovery like? How much help and support did you need for the first few weeks?

So I gave birth 15 months ago and had quite a traumatic vaginal birth (forceps, episiotomy, 3rd degree tear etc) I’m pregnant again and I’m thinking to go for an elected c section as I cannot bear to think about going through all that again or even taking that risk. Has anyone had an elected c section before? Would you recommend? How was your experience? Any tips or advice would be appreciated x
