Stomach numbness 6 weeks pp

I had a C-section 6 weeks ago on Monday and my stomach still feels numb.
It feels like if you have pins and needles in your feet and you stand on them..
Is this normal?

It’s normal
The numbness for me lasted years
6 years later full sensation never completely returned

It’s crazy not being able to feel some of your stomach. I still can’t feel my stomach just under my belly button. I’m 4 months pp

Im nearly 4 months pp and theres almost like a 2 inch band all along the top of my scar that is numb, very normal so I've been told.

Hope you're healing okay and baby is doing well 💕

Completely normal. You’re still very much in the recovery period. Pins and needles does go but my stomach is still numb underneath my belly button 7 months pp. I have heard that may never return xx

Elected c section?

So I gave birth 15 months ago and had quite a traumatic vaginal birth (forceps, episiotomy, 3rd degree tear etc) I’m pregnant again and I’m thinking to go for an elected c section as I cannot bear to think about going through all that again or even taking that risk. Has anyone had an elected c section before? Would you recommend? How was your experience? Any tips or advice would be appreciated x

Freaking out a wee bit 🥲

38+4
and I’ve had severe like cramp/braxtons for the last two hours, I was on my ball for a little bit for pelvic pain but it feels like really really tight braxtons but more to the bottom of my stomach with some cramp pain, my braxtons have never caused me pain and have always been situated just at the top of my ribs but this feels completely diff, it’s kind of on and off but definitely causing me a lot of discomfort 🥲any help on what it could be

Looking for advice and experiences. I want another baby. I plan on waiting near the full 18 months

I had my first baby via c section on April 6 2026. At 40 weeks.
I want to conceive again September 2027. However I am a bit fearful about it because I’ve heard about all the complications and the possibility of having another c section. I have the iud currently in place to prevent pregnancy until I’m ready again.

My pregnancy was absolutely perfect no sickness or complications and very healthy with no risks… up until the last second when I needed the emergency c section after being medically induced. Happy to answer any questions but mostly looking for answers.
