Bleeding

I’m 14 days post partum and just wondering whether anyone has experienced anything similar so my lochia had calmed down next to nothing and then all of a sudden yesterday I had quite a lot of bleeding it slowed down and I went to triage they said they weren’t concerned. I woke up this morning with a little bit of blood on my sanitary towel but when I went to wipe it’s like a blood bath down there again. Anybody else experiencing this?

Yes it’s normal to increase after physical activity. With my first it came and went for up to 6 weeks so I thought I had my period back but it wasn’t!

If it’s filling a pad in an hour that’s too much bleeding. If you have any clots bigger than 50p that’s also a reason to go in. It’s quite normal for the bleeding to be on and off with mobilising / activity changes and can often stop and start.

I’m also 14 days and have just started seeing more fresh blood overnight , I was only out walking yesterday and didn’t think that I did that much

I had a c section. Apart from 1dt day hardly any bleeding. Then it completely stopped. I didn't wear anything got up from sofa and bled everywhere I went into pure panic. Midwife came same day so I had taken pics as It went all over bathroom she said it's normal and if you've been sat a while it can pool and come out l. Even just looking at baby with love can affect it so don't be concerned. I'm now 3 weeks past and I now just have brown discharge but it comes and goes

Growth scans / big baby

How accurate have peoples growth scans been? I had a scan at 40+1 and they said the baby is measuring 8.15lb! At 36 weeks she was measuring 6.2lb, so this seems like a massive jump! From the 43rd percentile to 95th! Those who were told they were having big babies, were they born big? I'm only 4'11ft, husband is 6ft and all his family were big babies😭😂

TOLAC/VBAC

I currently see an OB in Tarzana, CA. I can honestly say I’ve always felt he’s an intelligent man with amazing bedside manner. I had an unplanned c-section November 2022 and have baby #2 on the way in February 2027. My c-section was because my babies cord was wrapped around his neck four times. I did my research and I’d be a great candidate for TOLAC/VBAC. I’ve also viewed Reddit forums where many women have had supportive OB’s that welcome trying. My OB says he can perform it, but makes me feel foolish for wanting to attempt it. Saying that a uterine rupture is harmful to me and detrimental to the baby (death). The fear being instilled in me prevents me from wanting to do this very thing I feel I deserve to experience. However, that very entitlement makes me wonder if I’ll regret attempting it if something goes wrong.

Can anyone share their experience and maybe suggest an OB that was supportive in or near Tarzana, CA?

20 week scan notes

I’m currently nearly 23 weeks pregnant and had my scan at 20 (+1) weeks. I was told baby was measuring well and she looks great. I’ve since spoken to a midwife and a consultant about a complication I have which was discovered on my 20 week scan and has made me a high risk pregnancy. The sonographer, midwife and consultant have all given me different information about this complication each saying my placenta is in a slightly different place. I was hoping to read the scan notes myself, but haven’t received these. I have an online notes system called My Pregnancy Notes, but find not all information is added to this.

Has anyone had a similar experience? Where did you find/were you given your 20 week scan notes?

Thanks
