Tongue tie

I am aware tongue tie cant be diagnosed from photos. But at birth we were told my son had a posterior tongue tie by a midwife. We had a lactation consultant at 8 weeks where he scored a 2/8 with low oral function and then at 11 weeks we got refered to the tongue tie clinic but the lady looked and said nope no tongue tie. My son is now 17 weeks old and does nothing but scream. We got told colic. Would end at 12 weeks. If anything its getting worse. Weve had cmpa formula. Reflux medications. He has never taken more than 3 oz. He gets tired before even finishing 3oz and falls asleep. He has awful reflux. And just screams all the time. Its £280 for a private clinic and I really dont have the money and dont want to go if shes just going to tell me the same thing. But I dont know what else to do. In the back of my head is the midwife who told me there was a posterior tie. He has all tongue tie symptoms. Clicking, milk dripping. If i know a tongue tie cut would help him id pull the money together somehow. But I just need help. Its been 17 weeks of constant screaming. He dropped from 60th to 17th centile. Hes currently gaining around 10g per week. Doctors and health visitor are absolutely useless. He has an appointment at the children's hospital. But not until the end of october
