Any advice on baby sleeping in the next to me? My 2 week old will sleep so well on me but when I transfer he does half the time or will wake up straight away. 👶

Have you got it attached to your bed in co sleeper mode?

Using a swaddle so it mimics him being held, keeps him cosy and prevents his startle reflexes from waking him up.
I would highly recommend the Love to Dream swaddles x

Moses basket inside the next to me if you have one x

I don’t have any advice but just know I’m in the exact same situation. Contact naps, she will sleep for hours. By herself in the next 2 me crib some times I get 30 mins max 🤦🏼‍♀️

I find putting my daughter down bum first then very slowly her back and head works well! x
I have an almost 2 year old daughter
She’s my whole life I adore her
I had a bit of a meltdown yesterday
We found out we’re having another daughter & I absolutely weeped like I mourned a son that was never meant for me
I dreamed up an entire world with my daughter & this second child being a son & it’s hit me so hard knowing now that won’t be my reality
I’m finding it really difficult to accept
Has anyone felt this way
I see all kinds of families around me with & without children with boys with girls with a mix etc
I am so grateful for everything I have
I just can’t help this feeling
My heart aches

The first thing I think of (after are they ok) when my husband says he's at the ER because our son got stung half a dozen times by wasps was "where are his glasses? He can't see without his glasses"
My son doesn't wear glasses.
He's fine btw

My baby boy is 14 weeks and recently has been getting up earlier and earlier in the morning, he goes to bed 7-7.30pm and wakes once or twice in the night and wakes up at 7.. but now it’s 6am, 5.30, 5.15am. Any advice please, is he going to bed too early?

Can anyone recommend a baby carrier/ sling?
I didn’t use one much with my first but I’m due to have my second soon and I’m thinking with 2 under 2 it will be useful to have my hands free and actually use one.
I don’t want to spend a fortune considering I didn’t use it last time but equally want something easy to get baby in and out of and comfortable wearing for me.
Thanks in advance.

Hey there I’m a ftm and been home with my baby for 6 months. I enjoy it but I’m also wanting to provide more for her by getting an education or mentorship. What age do you think is gonna be the best to start setting those goals? Right now I feel like I’m too busy with her and keeping up with our house.
