38+2 and uncomfyyy! 🐳

I feel like lots of women in this group are starting to feel similar now 😮‍💨
I’m a FTM so this is all new to me but I’m really feeling like my bump’s dropped, been backwards and forwards to the loo today and have eaten nothing that might give me a dodgy belly so thinking it’s hormonal or something?
Feeling super heavy like I’m dragging myself around, belly is really tight, staying in one position for too long is getting hard.
I am quite ready for this baby to be out and I know you’ll all understand 🥹
How’s everyone else feeling? 🤍

I’m 38+2 as well with my second and feeling the same. The loose bowels is definitely hormonal, your body is regularly clearing out to prepare for the start of labour. For me the worst symptom is the lower back pain, it’s constant whether I’m sitting / standing / laying / walking. Really struggling with it especially when I’ve got a 3 year old who wants me to sit and play with him all day!

I think it looks like your belly has dropped maybe but it’s hard to tell without the “before” picture. Hope all goes well and your baby comes soon xx

Planned c section nerves

I have my planned c section this week due to baby being 95th percentile and I don’t want to be induced im absolutely petrified I have never had surgery in my life, I’m also scared of the recovery but at the same time I cannot imagine being induced .

I have said if baby comes naturally before then I will try but yeah I also told family when it is and the judgemental comments have come rolling in which is making me doubt everything.

Any advice tips and tricks?

Are you a cereal with cold or warm milk person? 👀

I LOVE my cereal with warm milk. It just feels so cosy & tasty 😍👌🏾.. My go to cereal atm is raisin & almond granola or Frosted wheaties😍 wbu?

How did your delivery go?

I’m a FTM and I had such a quick and sudden delivery that even though my son is 2 months old, I genuinely still can’t believe he’s mine and that he’s here.

Jonah came a month early, 35.5 weeks. On my birthday! I labored for around 4 hours, pushed for 10 minutes and he was here. I was also up and about almost immediately after. Felt like superwoman until all my chronic illnesses came back lol

First time mums who are choosing to have a C-Section, what’s making you opt for it over vaginal birth? 🤔
