Can they drink it out of something else? Is formula being used because of nutritional concerns? Is there not a milk or milk adjacent alternative that the child will accept?
Not great for their teeth. Dentists encourage to drop the bottle at 1yo.
Have you tried a straw cup?
Drinking formula still, no not weirdz. People use to nurse their babies until 3-4 years old alongside eating solids. But since colonialism and the start of the dual income dependency, mothers had to leave their babies earlier and earlier, thus the creation of formula. An amazing life saving creation.
I would try to slowly introduce a discussion cup though. Even if itās just once a day giving the formula in the new cup. If they refuse the cup offer solids instead. It will help retrain their minds about what containers holds formula.
She eats breakfast etc but a morning bottle was just a routine - if she doesnt accept cows milk do i just stop milk all together
Could you water it down in the morning? I think with my asd son he started biting through the nibs so it was gradually phased out anyway.
Is it infant formula? Thereās toddler formula or even pediasure would be great

Silent Treatment
We didnāt have sex when he wanted to on Friday night so he hasnāt spoken to me since. š
Backstoryā¦my day on Friday started at 6am. Starting with getting the kids ready for school, followed by a zillion errands & chores when I got back home that I didnāt finish until well into the evening. After dinner, i get our youngest ready for bed & itās a struggle getting her to sleep bc sheās not feeling well. I finally get her to sleep around 12:10am. Iām SPENT at this point so I go to our bedroom & lay in the bed close my eyes just to unwind. 12:13am my husband strolls into the room expecting sexy time. He says āare you really sleeping right now?ā I say āš Iām trying toā He leaves the room about 2 minutes later & doesnāt come back. He hasnāt spoken to me since. This feels like manipulation š¤

Stopping bottle
My 2.5 year old is still drinking the bottle( normal milk) which I know he shouldnāt but itās only once at night to sleep as I have a 4 month old and itās difficult to put them both down, how do I stop the bottle?

From next to me to big cot
My baby is 7 month old and Iām not sure when to start letting him sleep in his big cot. He has had naps in his big cot but still sleeps in his next to me. The problem is that he still wakes for bottles and half the time after his bottles he wonāt settle so I end up co-sleeping with him in the bed š

Colostrum
Iām 36 weeks today and Iāve noticed for the past few days Iāve been leaking a little bit of colostrum from both of my boobs. Ive not been hand expressing or collecting it as Iāve been told by my midwife not to collect it until Iām 37 weeks but feel like itās a waste of colostrum. Did anyone wait until 37 weeks? I want to start collecting but donāt want to incase itās not safe.

Breastfeeding
I have a 3 week old baby who is breastfed only but seems to cluster feed and seems really unsettled most times. I know shes getting enough milk and is also gaining weight but the constant crying is frustrating and makes me want to cry. I am trying to feed her more upright so she is not laying down and also keeping her upright after feeds but any advice? As I feel like im failing as a mother š¢
