Is anyone else soooo relieved to confidently know their baby is going to have a September birthday and be the oldest in the school year if in England (almost - unless I have a 3 hour labour starting right now 😂)? I have been sooo anxious for the past 2 weeks about going into labour early and my baby having an end of August birthday and being the youngest in the school year. I know you can defer their start date and being the youngest isn’t always the worst thing but I have been a Reception teacher for years and would just much prefer them to be a September baby. Have been holding my breath for weeks as it’s my second and I have had lots of pre labour symptoms but feel like I can finally breath and welcome the birth! (My due date is 2nd Sept)

Hahaha could have written this myself 😂 I’m a late August baby myself and was an EYFS / Y1 teacher for ten years – I left the profession last summer. Although I know there is nothing inherently wrong with August babies (I always coped okay at school) I’d have always preferred a September baby so I’m very relieved to have made it! My due dates not until the 11th but being my second I had a real worry he might come much earlier!

Im an august baby but was due 17th September!!
My little boy is due on the 23rd of September and im so so ready to have him here!!!

The same!!!!! Baby boy can come whenever he wants now that I've made it to the 1st haha 🥹🤣

I just want our September baby in September because every other month of the year we have like 3 birthdays, but none at all in September 😅 would be like her own birthday month! I'm due 19th with our first, so knowing my luck I'll go overdue and she'll be an October baby 😂

I am absolutely the same. I know if he had come in August it wouldn’t have been the end of the world, but preference was always for September. I am due the 3rd and now feel so relaxed I could probably go into labour at any moment 🤞

I wish I could write this as really wanted the oldest in the year group but my little boy decided to make an early appearance at 37+4, making him an end of August baby! 😂🫣
I’m 6 months PP. I’m BF. Desire is still pretty low for me, but I’m willing for hubs. When will I stop being so dry & feel like me again? lol I don’t know this body!

I’ve just found out I’m 7 weeks pregnant. Our first is pretty much 10 months.
Half of me is so happy because I know our son would love a sibling. He loves other kids and is so interested when he’s around other little ones.
We definitely want to have more than one. I feel as though I’ve really found my feet being a mum, after a pretty rough time to begin with. I couldn’t imagine going back to my previous life, of course some elements I desperately miss but it’s only fleeting.
The other half of me is terrified! I’m so happy with our current situation and nervous change will affect everyone forever. We have such a cute bond with our son and I’m scared of that changing and not being able to turn back. I’m worried about how it will affect him developmentally as it’ll only be 16 months between them. And I know how important the bond is between a child and their parents before the age of 3.
It took us 3 years to fall pregnant with our first and of course it happens first time with our second!
Any advice positive and negative would be greatly appreciated. I’m open to it all! Good and bad 🤍

Even though I know what to expect and what happens... I am having more anxiety this time around. It's not even about being on my own overnight or anything like that. I just find myself constantly checking my notes to see if I was given a date yet, triple checking things I know that are already done and fine, constantly going on the NHS site about details for a 2nd one... It probably has a lot to do with having a toddler now, but I just thought I would be more calm? My husband keeps reassuring me and I know I will have his help afterwards, but it wont go away. Maybe once I am given a date I will feel better, as I have my pre-op this Wednesday. Has anyone ever felt this way?

Hey girls, I was diagnosed with hyper mobility over a year ago. Been looking at how this affects me during pregnancy and honestly one thing I can’t wrap my head around is that when your hypermobile your more aware of the feelings in your body and it’s normal for you to be anxious of hearing your heart beat. I had a panic attack yesterday and I’m 100% putting it down to this now. I used to get anxious when I ran up stairs and could feel my heart beat faster before pregnancy but now with all these hormones and I think your heart rate increases in pregnancy too it’s like a constant anxious feeling! It’s horrible. I keep trying to remind my self it’s hormones and I’m gonna be fine but honestly I’m finding it hard. I’ve also started getting alot more pain in my hips. Can’t believe I’m only 6 weeks today 🤣 any other hypermobile girlies with any advice??

Anyone had to take the diabetes test twice?
I had mine yesterday and it has come back normal on the app. However I’m having two pluses of glucose in my wee every time it’s tested so I’m wondering whether they will make me do the test again in a few weeks? I will ask my midwife next week but just wondered if anyone else is in the same boat
