Personal one: did your sex life improve after having a baby??

I struggled with my body image during pregnancy so we stopped having sex pretty early into the first trimester. I had an elective C-section and at 7 weeks I felt ready to have sex again.

I am not sure if I just don't remember how sex was before but sex felt amazing. We have been having sex more frequently than we did before the pregnancy and I am enjoying it so much.

Did sex change for anyone else ?

I guess i will have to wait and see cause i enjoyed our sex life so much before i got pregnant and stopped having it as soon as we found out, its been 8 months n still we not had sex ahahah but will defo try these upcoming weeks to try to get the baby to come earlier, if im honest i feel fat n swollen n like a whale which is normal due to the weight gain, but have so much motivation to get back to my body pre baby and feel sexy again, i feel like sex life will be better cause i just went through all this stuff to give birth to this amazing baby and that makes me feel like the baddest bitch ahah and my boyfriend keeps reminding me this as well, after birth the focus is to get back to being fit n feeling sexy no matter how long it takes x

After 2 vaginal deliveries, everything about sex has changed for us. How it feels, what feels comfortable, we don’t do it as often as our children just don’t sleep very well, but it was a learning curve for sure.
Can’t say it improved, but it’s changed

For me it has improved greatly which was unexpected

Formula flasks

I’m new to formula feeding I make bottles up at home but when out & about I use pre made bottles.
I want to be able to make formula bottles when out so I’ve bought the Nuby rapid cool and thermal flask. But the capacity of the flask is only enough for 1 feed without refilling it.

Where can I get a larger flask that keeps water above 70 degrees? I’ve searched online but they’re all up to 50 degrees.

Thank you in advance! X

Am I the asshole for being nervous/ paranoid when my mother in law has my baby even when she’s just near him?

Hear me out, when I was pregnant she would always make jokes in the beginning and during my pregnancy. Saying, “oh this is our baby” and at first the way she would put it was funny but after a while it seemed possessive. So anytime she’s near him my skin crawls and when she’s holding him I can’t have a conversation with anyone because I’m so fixated on him making sure he’s okay. I don’t know, it’s probably PPA kicking my butt. Also I’ve stated multiple times he doesn’t need to be infront of a phone or tv because he’s 3 months old. Talk to him, play with him, yk. In return in a passive aggressive way I’ve been told that I’m wrong or “unfair because mummy gets to”.

I don’t know let me know y’all’s thoughts/ opinions or advice

C section Mumma’s

How long after your c section did you get feeling back in your lower tummy? I’m 8 weeks pp still completely numb and scar is still quite sore and occasionally the pain gets stronger on the inside. Is this normal? Im concerned Im not healing as well as I hoped because it’s quite uncomfortable. Also periods, when did everyone’s come back? I still haven’t had mine but was bleeding for 6 weeks after the section.

So emotional about this 😭

Baby is due any day now and my first has just turned 3.

I learned recently that kids typically don't remember anything from before the age of 3 so I feel like all of our time and special moments as just a family of 3, and all he's ever known to this point, will essentially be erased 😭

I know it's not really erased. I know every moment has still shaped who he is and even if he doesn't consciously remember it it has all still imprinted on him but it just kills me that everything up to now, our whole life together so far, just goes??

Hate feeling so emotional 😭😭

Sleep training

Are there any mums who didn’t actively sleep train your little ones? What is there sleep like now?

My LO is 4 months and I typically rock her to sleep. She hasn’t yet learnt to connect her sleep cycles, but she’s been waking up every 45 minutes for many many weeks now, unless she’s sleeping next to me - and then she can have longer stretches of sleep.

Wondering if actively sleep training is worth it?
