Hey mamas! I’ve been looking into combo feeding my little one and was just wondering y’all’s opinions and which formula you would suggest? (Hes a gassy guy)
He’s six weeks old and my supply is still a little all over the place and he’s starting to eat more so i just want to make sure he can take formula incase i cant get my supply up to where he needs it in once he really starts munching!

Why do you think your supply is all over the place?

There's no reason why your body can't make more milk when he needs it. Did you know the average volume of milk he drinks now won't change until he's about 7/8 months old and starts eating solid food though? (Other than short periods of growth spurts where total intake will increase temporarily)
Are you pumping? Directly feeding?

Pumping and occasionally latching, currently waiting to get in with a lactation specialist because he has issues latching. I power pump once a day and pump every 3-4 hours currently and am making barley enough currently to feed him

Try pumping more like 2 1/2 to 2 hours & you can even do pumps that imitate cluster feeding, so pump for 10 minutes, break pump another 10 minutes like 20 minutes later. I pump for 30 minutes, every 2 1/2 hours & try to pump whenever he’s hungry

& im now moving on to breast feeding him because I had latch issues, which I think is worked out now I hope! Now im producing too much. Currently pumping for 10 minutes to relieve pressure atm. I get about 6 oz or more about every 2 1/2 hours

I breastfeed my little girl all in the day and at 7pm i give her 1 bottle of kendamil comfort milk that helps with digestion and colic babys and she is amazing on it ! X

Omgsh he is such a cutie!!😍 I had a ton of trouble with my girl too. It took a while for my milk to come in then latching issues ofc. We used the nipple shield which helped a ton! Once she got hang of that, I immediately put her back on breast and she was able to get a hang of it but I will say it took a whole 2 months😩 I was pumping for 30min every 3 hours then when I met with the LC they told me pumping should only be 15-20min max every 3 hrs. I was pumping just enough to get her thru every feed but now I’m a milk machine😅 and rarely pump bc I have her on breast more often. Her first few weeks I combo fed with Bobbi formula and didn’t have any issues with it.
I’m new to formula feeding I make bottles up at home but when out & about I use pre made bottles.
I want to be able to make formula bottles when out so I’ve bought the Nuby rapid cool and thermal flask. But the capacity of the flask is only enough for 1 feed without refilling it.
Where can I get a larger flask that keeps water above 70 degrees? I’ve searched online but they’re all up to 50 degrees.
Thank you in advance! X

Hear me out, when I was pregnant she would always make jokes in the beginning and during my pregnancy. Saying, “oh this is our baby” and at first the way she would put it was funny but after a while it seemed possessive. So anytime she’s near him my skin crawls and when she’s holding him I can’t have a conversation with anyone because I’m so fixated on him making sure he’s okay. I don’t know, it’s probably PPA kicking my butt. Also I’ve stated multiple times he doesn’t need to be infront of a phone or tv because he’s 3 months old. Talk to him, play with him, yk. In return in a passive aggressive way I’ve been told that I’m wrong or “unfair because mummy gets to”.
I don’t know let me know y’all’s thoughts/ opinions or advice

Are there any mums who didn’t actively sleep train your little ones? What is there sleep like now?
My LO is 4 months and I typically rock her to sleep. She hasn’t yet learnt to connect her sleep cycles, but she’s been waking up every 45 minutes for many many weeks now, unless she’s sleeping next to me - and then she can have longer stretches of sleep.
Wondering if actively sleep training is worth it?

My 6day old is on 3oz and is currently being fed every 2 hours however sometimes she’s waking up 30 mins before this and not settling until fed . Really don’t know what to do . She doesn’t show any signs that she’s drank too much eg being sick etc .
For reference she was 8lb3oz
