Help

Ftm here and im really starting to struggle with nighttime now. My baby is taking forever to transfer to her bed, each waking can take anywhere from an hour to 2 hours sometimes more as she keeps waking up at every transfer (even when shes in a deep sleep).

I dread nighttime and im losing patience each time. What can I do to make the transfers easy and without wake ups. Shes a month old and this has been going on for a week now.

My baby did this and it drove me absolutely nuts. But it’s so hard when they’re so little. It’ll get better, even tho it feels endless when you’re going through it. ♥️

Sensory play, tummy time, floor time, or swaddle when she gets drowsy then rock to sleep?.... Maybe drink chamomile tea before breastfeeding?

Do you think grief makes the people around you uncomfortable?

I had a miscarriage in May and I asked my sister why she never checked up on me. Her answer was “ I already knew you were sad so I just felt weird asking because I already knew.” It bothered me so much because the grief was so intense for me, and I just HOPED to have someone ask me so I could feel less alone/vent. Her answer pissed me off so bad and made me feel so not important.

Rant

So I've followed the trial on Lindsay Clancy and now my algorithm is full of things on it. Since the mistrial I've seen so many creators posting complete lies about PPD and PPP. Not every mother who has/had it will annihilate Thier families or themselves. They are 2 VERY different things and seem to be being used interchangeably.
Mental health is a real issue and with all this misinformation and judgement surrounding it now it seems even less likely than before that people will try reach out for help. I can completely understand the desire to have her locked up and the key thrown away, but not guilty due to mental state isn't a new defence, in her state the prosecution has to prove she was criminally responsible. Also 11 people didn't think the prosecution proved that she was criminally culpable due to her mental health, that is the law. I am certain if ANY of her/the kids family thought the kids life were at risk they wouldn't have taken the risk so people blaming them is also just annoying me... Am I the only person with a nuanced view on this case!?

Night time sleeping

My 7 week old seems to struggle sleeping at night unless it’s literally in my arms or in his swing chair in the evening, co sleeping isn’t an option for us as my partner is such a deep sleeper I just don’t feel comfortable with it so often I’m on the sofa with the baby, I’ve got a next to me crib and a Moses basket and he just seems to hate both of them! I’ve tried all different things, he transfers fine just doesn’t seem to sleep for long in them, maybe an hour max! But if he’s in my arms or swing he’s doing 2-3 hour stretches? Just not sure what to do!
