You’re definitely not doing anything wrong 🤍 Some 1 year olds still wake a lot at night, but I know how exhausting it is when it’s been going on for a whole year 😭 I’d look at their daytime naps/wake windows, make sure they are getting plenty to eat and drink during the day, and keep bedtime really consistent. If they wakes very frequently every single night, I’d also mention it to your health visitor/GP just to rule out things like teething pain, reflux, ears or anything else making them uncomfortable. And please accept help with nights where you can — you need sleep too ❤️

I actually have no advice but you’re not alone, my now 9 year old didn’t sleep a single night through until she was 3.5 yrs. my 2.5 year old still doesn’t sleep through and I also have a 1 year old who also doesn’t. I feel like I got really unlucky with night times when I hear everyone else’s baby sleep through from 3 months 😪 it’s so so hard and I think people underestimate how hard it is to go about your normal day with lack of sleep.
But you’ve got this, it doesn’t last forever (that’s what people keep telling me anyway 🤣) x

this is very normal, and may continue well into toddler hood. my kids are 4 and 6 and still wake some nights! I hate that society makes us think it’s normal for every baby to sleep through the night

Feeding

My 5 week old is currently drinking 150ml every 3 hours but for the past few days he’s been showing hunger cues every 1.5/2 hours. On my kendamil tub it says 150ml is recommended for 3 month olds but I’m worried he’s not getting enough food. Do I up his formula to 180ml or keep topping him up? I worry if I just top him up each time he’s gonna end up drinking less more frequently as each top up we only give him 90ml as don’t want to overfeed him. Picture added of my squish 🥰

Breastfeeding help!

My nipples are like razor blades and I want to cry every time she latches on.
I have done everything I’m suppose too, I make sure she has a big open mouth, she leans her head back, I make sure the nipple goes to the roof of her mouth and I bring her head right in.
I’ve even had a breastfeeding specialist come out and help me.
Nothing I do works and I’m crying. I don’t want to do formula, I do express but even that hurts my nipples now.
I desperately want the connection of breastfeeding and I don’t know what to do.

Anyone experienced this or advice?

My baby is two weeks old.
I use silver cup shields and put breastmilk in them too.

4 month sleep regression

Please tell me I’m not alone in this 😅 ever since my baby’s 16w jabs she has hit a sleep regression - fighting all day naps and impossible to get down for bed. Her feeding is all over the place and I can see she’s tired/grouchy but she fights every opportunity to sleep. She used to sleep 9-6. When does it get better? 😭😭

I’ve got a burning question, do blinkers / indicators not come standard on vehicles anymore? Is it a feature you’ve gotta pay extra for in newer cars or do people just not use them / remember they exist???

This is a hehe haha question, because when I was driving today only me and 4 other cars used our blinkers and everybody else said fuck indicating if I’ll switch lanes or make a turn.

Mamas of 4 month plus babies

How are we day napping?? Are we putting our LO in quiet dimmed /pitch black room or keeping day time naps in the light with noise?? Also sleeping bag or no sleeping bag for daytime?
