How did you encourage your LO to take their first steps?

My LG is 11 months (1 year in 3 weeks) and she is ALWAYS wanting to walk holding my hands. She does it really well and is barely putting any weight on my hands any more and she cruises confidently!

I've been trying to encourage her to take an independent step but every time I do, she crawls to me instead.

Any tips would be great!

I mean she'll do it when she's ready but I would just say when she's holding onto furniture bend down near her and put your hands out or hold out a toy and see if she will let go and do a couple of steps. My little boy cruised from 10 months but didn't walk until 13 months so sometimes it just takes a while for them to build the confidence xx

My boy walked for Mickey mouse funhouse song stretch break 🤣🤣 just sat a couple feet away called him and showed him what we were watching and he came to us he was only 9 months so it shocked everyone we thought he was gonna drop to his knees and crawl but instead just walked

They just do it in their own time. I saw mine taking a couple of steps when he was in the living room then I sat really close to him with a toy and slowly inched back until he walked to me

Put something the really want just out of reach. Ours was goo goo gaa gaa for the remote so we used that as an incentive a lot!

Is it regression? Growth spurt? Teething?

OMFG!

I want to scream, cry, run away, sleep for a week!

All the above!

My DD is 9 1/2 months..

She was so chill as a teeny weeny but last few weeks she's horrible (not all the time, but majority)

Whingy, clingy, crying. Hates getting her nappy changed or dressed. Fighting her naps through the day AND not to mention that through the night she'll go to sleep at bedtime but then wakes up a few times and sometimes even is awake 2/3 hours!

What the hell is going on?!

I keep telling myself its a phase... BUT my 3 year old doesn't sleep all night either so I'm usually tackling 2!

I go back to work next week too so god knows what's going to happen and nursery are going to struggle with her.

Help a mama out!

Don't let her photo fool you lol

Post partum sex

VAGINAL BIRTHS, NO STITCHES OR COMPLICATIONS -

How long did everyone wait until they had sex? I usually hate these posts now I’m finding myself asking the same question hahahaha. The sexual tension we both have is unreal, we’ve not slept together since 2nd May😮‍💨 i usually have more self discipline than this! Baby was born 10th August so I’m 3 weeks and 2 days, not much blood is on my pads anymore however it’s there when I wipe. We almost tried the other night but I chickened out in case it hurt 😢

Toddler toothpaste

My son is 2 and we use the Orajel toothpaste non fluoride. His teeth have gaps and I’m already scarred by that so I want to make sure he’s getting good oral care. What toothpaste and toothbrushes do you guys use. Rn he likes to brush his teeth ( let’s me do it) because he likes to eat the toothpaste 😅 but any advice and he has a dentist appointment coming up too so hopefully all goes well.

Baby bath with stand and breast pump recommendations needed!

Hi all,

As we only have a shower I'm looking for any baby tubs which come with a stand ?

Also trying to research breast pumps but there are so many and always prefer to hear actual reviews. Please give me any recommendations you may have! :)
