Is it regression? Growth spurt? Teething?

OMFG!

I want to scream, cry, run away, sleep for a week!

All the above!

My DD is 9 1/2 months..

She was so chill as a teeny weeny but last few weeks she's horrible (not all the time, but majority)

Whingy, clingy, crying. Hates getting her nappy changed or dressed. Fighting her naps through the day AND not to mention that through the night she'll go to sleep at bedtime but then wakes up a few times and sometimes even is awake 2/3 hours!

What the hell is going on?!

I keep telling myself its a phase... BUT my 3 year old doesn't sleep all night either so I'm usually tackling 2!

I go back to work next week too so god knows what's going to happen and nursery are going to struggle with her.

Help a mama out!

Don't let her photo fool you lol

Going through the same thing atm 😭

Going through the same, my first was also like it, hes 2.5 and still doesn't sleep. I think its a mixture of sleep regression, teething and separation anxiety.
When my oldest started nursery I thought he would struggle due to all this but other than a few tears at drop off and pick up he actually got on fine. He struggled with napping first few weeks but soon was going 1.5-2.5 hours whilst there.
The sleep deprivation is something else, I havent had a full night's sleep since I got pregnant with my first so I absolutely sympathise with you, just keep doing what you are doing. I do co sleep with my youngest if hes having a paticularly bad night, as sometimes I can be up to him 6 times in an hour.

Going through the exact same thing! I honestly feel like I’m going insane. I’m overthinking everything, trying to figure out ā€œwhat I’m doing wrongā€ I have no advice I’m afraid but I just wanted to let you know you’re not alone! We’re all in this sinking ship together trying to stay afloat.
But you’re doing amazing! I read a quote the other day:
ā€œYour child isn’t trying to give you a hard time, your child is just going through a hard timeā€ā¤ļø

Same with 2 kids, first is 3 years. He’d wake up and come to our bed, but other than that he’s good, my lil one instead 10 months old now, he’s on the move now, crawling, trying to stand up and walk on his own, he’s very eager.. but in order to do it he needs to put a lot of effort, so he’s moaning, wiggles, more clingy, crying… was never like that!!!

I'm so glad it's not just my baby lol!

Which is awful for all us mamas!

I guess we keep going and tell ourselves it's just a phase!

Hi all, this is just a phase that is on and off for a pretty long time, you're not alone. Around 9 months, it's the stage where babies start figuring out that baby and mum are 2 different beings and the world looks big and scary, hence the separation anxiety. Don't worry about the nursery, you pay them to deal with it, your baby will get plenty of cuddles during the first few weeks while adjusting to a new environment. I started nursery with my first at 7 months for 2 days a week to get him used with the staff before he figured out he's his own person. Ask dad, grandparents and friends to hold your baby so they feel more comfortable and get used to the new world, is not all that scary

Am I the asshole for being nervous/ paranoid when my mother in law has my baby even when she’s just near him?

Hear me out, when I was pregnant she would always make jokes in the beginning and during my pregnancy. Saying, ā€œoh this is our babyā€ and at first the way she would put it was funny but after a while it seemed possessive. So anytime she’s near him my skin crawls and when she’s holding him I can’t have a conversation with anyone because I’m so fixated on him making sure he’s okay. I don’t know, it’s probably PPA kicking my butt. Also I’ve stated multiple times he doesn’t need to be infront of a phone or tv because he’s 3 months old. Talk to him, play with him, yk. In return in a passive aggressive way I’ve been told that I’m wrong or ā€œunfair because mummy gets toā€.

I don’t know let me know y’all’s thoughts/ opinions or advice

Combo feeding

Hey mamas! I’ve been looking into combo feeding my little one and was just wondering y’all’s opinions and which formula you would suggest? (Hes a gassy guy)

He’s six weeks old and my supply is still a little all over the place and he’s starting to eat more so i just want to make sure he can take formula incase i cant get my supply up to where he needs it in once he really starts munching!

Feeding

My 6day old is on 3oz and is currently being fed every 2 hours however sometimes she’s waking up 30 mins before this and not settling until fed . Really don’t know what to do . She doesn’t show any signs that she’s drank too much eg being sick etc .
For reference she was 8lb3oz

Enough room in crib??

My 6M old is rolling confidently and wants to sleep on her stomach. She sleeps on her side against the edge of her crib, and once she gets rolled over enough to be on her belly, she hits the other side of the crib. She seems to get stuck and frustrated. It’s been causing more frequent wake ups. Anyone else struggling/ struggled with this problem? If so what did you do? I’ve considered a floor bed so she has more room but her nursery is small and it would take up most of the space.

(Pic for cuteness tax haha)
