This advice is for a friend not me..
my husband is best friends with hers and he says he thinks she’s just making him seem crazy that it doesn’t sound like him at all. I have TONS more messages from this day.. idk what to even tell her anymore..

He obviously has some personal issues going on ! I would definitely leave, i don’t think the headache is worth it. And dealing with the controlling behavior is lowkey scary 😩

How long has your husband known her husband for ?

No one, best friends or not, knows what someone is truly like behind closed doors. I wouldn’t completely dismiss the woman

I think regardless of what's going on.. it sounds like a toxic relationship and if it's something they can't healthily communicate about and actively fix then it's not worth the headache for either of them.
I talked to her all day yesterday about it and trying to figure out how to go about it, but she says that he won’t sit down and talk to her at all that he will just start yelling. He got mad at her yesterday and said that she was messing with herself while holding her nine month old son with her 14 year-old son in the room with them…
He then refused to leave her alone because she said she didn’t want to sleep in the bed with him. I said something about calling the cops and she said last time she tried to leave that he put a pew to his head. They have four kids in their house.

Just watched The Worst Ex Ever on Netflix and this literally sounds like the start to one of those episodes…😬

It could be 1 of 2 things, or both? 1) hes possibly projecting. Meaning he is doing stuff behind her back and feels guilty so he projects it onto her. 2) he has serious insecurities that need to be worked through with a therapist 3) both 1+2
My father passed away when I was a child. We used his name as our son’s middle name as a way for him to be connected to baby. My mum was very happy with this and so were me and my partner. I will say that my father’s name isn’t particularly a name I would’ve chosen otherwise as it’s not to our taste but won us over sentimentally.
My FIL openly asked me and my husband the other day if we will be using his name as our second son’s middle name. We had no intention of doing this and have already chosen another middle name. The middle name we have chosen is actually my husbands and FILs middle name (they have the same). We thought this was a way to connect both my husband and FIL to baby boy no2. My FIL seemed annoyed and said “is my name not good enough?”.
I have no idea how to approach this subject anymore, especially when my in laws keeps asking if I have finalised a name and seem to be off in tone when discussing a name.
For reference, my husband is their only child and thus these are their only grandchildren.
Thanks for any help with this situation! I don’t want to upset anyone but also want our decisions to be respected.

Any tips/tricks on how to get my baby to like playing/eating more textured food & solids? She’s 9 months and doesn’t seem interested in it every time I give it to her 😭

Baked beans with toast, grated cheese with a side of grapes and blackberries 💜
Definitely a bigger portion but the boy does love beans on toast!

I swear I’ve deep cleaned every room in this house like 3 times now thinking it will be the last time before baby arrives/to help induce labour and nothing! Now it’s a tip and needs doing AGAIN! 🤦🏻♀️😂

Hi, I am going to have baby n2 at the end of February. We moved to a decent home and we have a spare room.
We were thinking to get an aupair for a couple of years or more. Any experience?
If you have/had one, how did you choose and find the person?
