I had my LG in October '24 and still have some pp hair loss!
I found cutting it shorter helped as it's easier to manage and doing a deep condition and comb through at least once a week helps a lot!
No tips or advice! But same boat! I've cut it above my shoulders and still loosing loads, could make a wig easy!
Hi. This is very common. Had this with my first one and it eventually lessens over a period of time. I have been using OGX biotin & collagen shampoo and conditioner since then. I am now 16weeks PP with my 2nd and maybe it is helping. I cut my hair slightly shorter too.
I'm in the exact same boat .. I've been recommended Biton which I've got on order and Champo hair oil ... its a little spenny but I'll be ending up with no hair so very willing to try anything 🤣 . I've also booked in a blood test - apprently four months PP is when iron drops which also links to hair loss.
Literally asked my gp about it today. She said that the only thing they do is check ferritine levels to be over 50ug/l as this is needed for the hair to start growing again
When did this start for everyone I’m 13 weeks pp and hasn’t start for me yet ://
It started at 12 weeks pp for me 🤦🏻♀️

Chickenpox at nursery
The nursery has contacted on my sons second day at nursery to say that a baby has chickenpox. This baby was in the same room as my child.
Is there a high chance of him getting it? The baby was removed within 3-4, hours.
I havent had chickenpox myself so I am a bit worried hence me asking.
Are there any steps I can take?

Hi, not sure if anyone else has experienced this, but my LO sometimes cries and cries so much when she wants attention, but today she stopped herself breathing crying so much her Gma had to give mouth to mouth
i was in the kitchen and i could hear her crying in the living room with gma and dad, but everyone keeps telling me that she needs to be able to be settled with others so that Im able to actually do something else. So I let them try to settle her, and all of a sudden she goes quiet. Turns out she had stopped breathing for a second and her gma had to give her mouth to mouth for a few breaths and after she told me that her lips had started to go a little blue as well. Why is this happening?? Why is she crying so much like this and she’s only 4 months old

Feeling so disconnected from my partner
Since birth 2 weeks ago, I have felt such dislike toward my partner. He is VERY supportive in terms of looking after our 4 yr old, doing loads round the house, seeing to baby whenever, taking lots of night shifts. I couldnt fault him AT all.
However emotionally/mentally I feel he doesnt understand and he is snappy with me, and I am feeling resentment toward him for unknown reasons other than the emotional disconnection
I told him and he said "im using birth and 9 months of pregnancy as an excuse" which really upset me and Im crying, but he just see's me crying or upset as nothing and "just hormones" and I get no comfort, nothing.
I cant see how we can go back to getting on atm, any advice?

The car seat ☠️
Ugh, I’m gutted we’re going through this again, our first was the exact same!
Anyone else’s baby just scream the moment they are in the car? It’s horrific and I feel particularly bad this time because my poor toddler has to listen to it too!
I’ve tried Osteo, toys, transferring asleep (I can dream on😅). Absolutely nothing is working, she’s the same for the pram but I can deal with that and just use a carrier. The car however, is getting exhausting. I don’t want my toddler to miss out on outings because of this😫

Dummy suggestions?
My boy is 10 weeks and exclusively breastfed aside from 1 bottle of ebm in the evening.
He used to take avent soothies, nanobebe or avent air but lately has been refusing all of them. He has just learned how to suck this thumb too which I'd rather he had a dummy then suck his thumb because I can take a dummy away, but he has his thumb forever.
The thumb sucking started after the dummy refusal.
I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience and found any spesific dummy swapped out well for thumb.
We've tried lots so I will reply to comments with a 💚 if we've tried them.
