Hey I’m around 38 weeks now but i just can’t keep thinking about how life is going to change. I keep getting told that your life is over, you and your partner won’t get time for eachother etc, it won’t be the same anymore. I’m excited to start a new family but nervous at same time. I’m really going to miss us as selfish as that sounds. Any views on this?

Hi!
I’m a FTM with a beautiful baby girl, before this I was adamant I didn’t want kids, I didn’t wanna lose out on laying in, holidays, spending money on stupid things, gaming sessions and I definitely was not looking forward to constantly being woken up at all hours for feedings.
I’m currently 4.5 months in and honestly I have never been happier, my little girl in the highlight of my life and she is everything i never knew I was missing. Me and my partner still get our time together, we game every night (my little girl goes to bed at the same time every night) we have already been on holiday and we are living happily as a complete family 🥰 (I am already wanting another but I have to wait as I had a c section)

I am 17 days post partum, and honestly it’s been the best 17 days of my life!! Of course having a supportive partner makes it so much better! But this little baby has made me so happy, YES it’s hard, such as night feeds etc but it’s all worth it. 🩷

I really felt this in the last trimester, I cried to my brother about it not being just me and my husband anymore but I wasn’t so worried about not getting to do things as they really are babies/ children for such a short amount of time! It’s true what they say, the days are long but the years are short, time passes much quicker than you’d like it to. I wouldn’t have life any other way, she’s the reason we belly laugh every day despite hardships in life, she makes us want to be better people and kinder to each other. I was also told by some people “don’t have kids they take everything from you” but I feel like I’ve only gained in the 2 years of my daughter’s life. It’s important to try to be on the same page as your partner or to learn to compromise when it comes to parenting choices, time with each other and handling the physical and mental load… but if you ever feel like things are slipping, relationship counselling can do wonders ✨

It’s the hardest but best time of your life. My first is 3 and it has gone so fast my 2nd is 9 weeks we are in the trenches I go to bed with my toddler so I can get a little stretch of sleep while partner has baby we don’t spend any time together but it’s just a short season of life the time we get together is going out on family days at the weekend and the family unit is just amazing
I feel completely stuck and I don’t know what to do anymore 💔
I’m a mum of 3 children, including a 10-week-old baby, and we live in England. My family are all in another country, so I don’t have anyone nearby to help me.
My husband is from Pakistan and his family are all there. Every year, he goes to Pakistan around the same time and stays for around 3 months.
Last time, he left when I was 9 months pregnant and didn’t come back until our baby was 2 months old. That was such a difficult time for me.
This time, he left again when our baby was only 4 weeks old. We had agreed that he would only stay for one month, and I agreed because I thought we had made that decision together. But now he has told me that he only agreed to one month because he didn’t want to upset me, and that he actually intended to stay longer.
I feel so hurt. It feels like my feelings and the agreement we made don’t really matter to him.
While he’s in Pakistan, he calls me when he wants to. Meanwhile, I’m here with three children, including a tiny baby, doing everything on my own. I feel exhausted, lonely and honestly very resentful.
I’ve reached a point where I don’t want to live like this anymore. I feel like I want to leave, but I have no money to move and no family here to go to. I don’t even know where I would start.
I know some people might say, “Why did you accept it?” or “Just leave,” but when you have three children, no money and no family nearby, it isn’t that simple.
I just want to hear from other mums honestly — what would you do if you were in my situation? Would you stay and try to work through it, or would you start making plans to leave?
Please be kind. I’m really struggling and I just need somewhere to talk about this. ❤️

I moved to England (London) last year with pregnancy. Had my baby last year October. I’m currently pregnant again. I feel like I didn’t get my spark back before taking in again. I don’t feel myself. I really need a friend or few more just to keep going 😞

I have struggled with low libido for a while and normally will only initiate sex or engage to please my husband. I have been researching and trying to figure out ways to increase my libido but I think it’s partially because I have a tight pelvic floor making sex not always comfortable or easy. Now that I’m heavily pregnant my libido has plummeted even further to none existent and with my body aches and just pregnancy in general i told my husband not to expect anything until after birth. We maybe only did it 4 times during this whole pregnancy. Now he tells me he’s struggling with temptation. How do I deal with that?? I feel so inadequate but also that he’s being selfish.. I’m growing a human being!

I genuinely feel like I’ve lost feelings for my partner, I find he annoys me so much even just listening to him talk. I just don’t like him and weirdly enough I’m not finding him attractive anymore. I feel like such a horrible person but I just find he annoys me more than I enjoy his company.
Has anyone else felt this way?

I launched my business 2 days ago
I spent months getting off the ground and now find myself “waiting “ to see if it kicks off
I am not used to failing, I like control and now I feel guilty in case my project doesn’t succeed I ended wasting all this time that I could’ve used to spend with my kid
The image is what we’re selling, it took so many waking hours, sometimes 12h days, and nearly a burn out 😅 but moms are not engaging yet
