Heavy periods
Is anyone else still having incredibly heavy periods? I’m still wearing maternity pads/maxi night pads (borderline adult nappies) as well as period pants. They’re lasting about 7 days which isn’t too bad it’s just the heaviness is unbearable. Might be TMI but I ruin the bedsheets every month no matter what I wear, up in the night to change my pads and bleeding through clothes in the day. I’ve been to the drs and I’ve tried tranexamic acid (or whatever it’s called) which doesn’t seem to be working. I’m really anxious to go on any hormonal contraception as my MH tends to be a bit wobbly these days and I don’t want to risk trying anything and being all over the place as I’m back at work. Thought it would have settled by now. There are no clots or anything else that seems to be alarming, not overly painful just reaaaaally tired (I am already on iron tablets so don’t think I’m anaemic). I’m really struggling with it.

Yes, I wasn’t like this after the first period having my first but this second time round I am so irregular and it’s literally tampon, pad and changing every 2 hours with both. At night I’m up multiple times changing or leaking through my clothes and pads.
I tried the acid thing, took ages to work and even then it was back to normal once I stopped. I’m now booked in for a pelvic ultrasound to see what’s going on. Had bloods done etc so might be worth following up xx
Hey I’m the same! I went to the doctors as I was feeling breathless and having heart palpations and it turns out I was anaemic from having such heavy periods. I got the mirena coil in in April which has made the bleeding less heavy but also just very irregular now but they say it should settle within a year. I don’t feel breathless anymore too or as tired as you’re describing. Also the mirena coil only puts hormones in your gynae area so it doesn’t make you feel depressed like the pill does! (Never again!!) I’ve also been referred to gynae and had ultrasounds (I only had one small cyst) it’s definitely not normal to be bleeding that heavy, I know how you feel it’s absolutely awful. Defo speak to your GP. Xx

Quitting my job
So I’ve come to the decision to quit my job mainly because they keep putting my safety at risk with heavy loads and stuff and I’m over worrying what they’re going to make me do, so I’m going to quit with immediate effect because I literally end up having panic attacks before I leave my house to go to work. Just want to know if people think what I’m doing is right or if I’m jumping the gun

Christmas toys
Sorry I know it’s too early for the ‘c’ word😂 but I’m wondering if you build the toys before wrapping them for your toddlers?
Last year he was only nearly 1 obviously when things were unwrapped In a box he wasn’t really interested nor did he know what it was. Even when things were built he’d still rather play with the boxes and to some extent I’m expecting the same this year but I thought maybe if I pre build the toys and wrap them so they’re ready to play with straight away he’d be more engaged and excited. Is this something anyone else does? He’ll be coming up to 2 this Christmas and I’ve got him a few things I just know he’s going to love!

Contraceptive patch
hiya, i was wondering if anyone has used the contraceptive patch?? what do you think of it?
i did have the coil before pregnancy which i loved, but if i dont have to go through the insertion again then id rather not🤣
