I'm 27 weeks pregnant, I have type 2 and gestational diabetes. I got pregnant via IVF. I'm on blood thinners as high risk for clots.
I've got to have baby girl early due to the GD (even tho my blood sugars are controlled, not taking insulin and my type 2 diabetes had reversed before getting pregnant due to 9 stone weight loss). They've said I'll have to have her from 38 weeks. This is my first pregnancy to full term so the likelihood of me going into labour naturally before that point is quite low and so my options are either an induction or C-section.
I think I've made up my mind to go for an elective C-section but wanted to hear others experiences where the situation is similar.
Thanks ♥️

I had both mine at 38 weeks via c section for pre eclampsia and GD, my 1st was emergency but 2nd elective and it was the most amazing experience everything was so chilled and relaxed!
Hey everyone im just woundering to those mamas who have had a c section and then gave birth again if it was natural the secound time or called for anlther c section? And if another c section how was it your secound one? Did you need a battery thing how do they work is it more painful than the first? When is the battery removed? Any other information you wish to share would be appriciated. As im wanting to know before i get pregnant or plan to be in a few years what my options are or if anyone knows off a prefessional i can talk to like the gp? Or could i ring the midwifes or walk kn and ask to talk to them? Dont want to waiste there time though. X

Hi everyone.
I was just wondering what people's experiences are with requesting an elective C-section?
I know so many people who have ended up getting emergency C-sections anyway after complications. Does anyone have any of their own experiences with this?

Do you know a good belly belt for both C-section and normal delivery? I saw many on Boots, Amazon and MAMACOSY, but I don’t know which one is good.

I’m 39+1 with our first.
Super uncomfy today, actually only within the last couple of hours after I’d come home from being out for a while.
Dull ache where you’d normally get period pains, the occasional twinge that feels like my cervix being poked which isn’t comfy and I’ve also got an ache right at the top of my right leg almost in the groin area. None of these things are in any sort of pattern it’s just random aches/pains.
How on earth do we differentiate between “just pregnancy aches” and labour signs?! 😩

Hey mamas if youve had a c section then been pregnant again id love to know how you got on throughout pregnancy with the scar? Also did you then have natural birth? Or c section again any info on a secound c section like the battery thing, pains, healing prossess when the batterys removed ect. Would be appriciated as im wanting to know my options before i plan to have my secound, in a good 2 to 3 years.

I took the morning after pill a week ago and a couple of days ago I started bleeding although now it's gotten like normal period heavy and I feel awful just like I do on my period, but I also only just finished my period a little over a week ago. Does anyone know if this is normal cos when I look online it says it's normal to have spotting but this is much more than spotting. Any help would be appreciated ❤️
