I'm a bit lost now with meals, as I've been reading different things online and we don't have a pediatran and the HV is not replying. How much milk are you giving and how many meals a day?

4x 8oz bottles.
Porridge in the morning.
Snacks or fruit for lunch.
Heinz big jar for dinner.

I’m in the exact same boat, mine has 3 meals a day (we do finger food for lunch so amount eaten varies). He’ll have 3 bottles through the day (3-5oz) and 3 overnight (4-6 oz). No idea how to get him to drink more through the day so he doesn’t need as much at night 🥲😭. HV doesn’t reply & central team told me to wait til his next review which is in October 🫠

How old is your little one? Mine is nearly 9 months and he’s having 3 meals with 2 light snacks. 9oz in morning 7oz of formula every 4 hours and 8oz at 7pm as his last bottle for bed. What you get told and read is what is recommended but you know your child best so give them what is suitable for them. Not had any concerns from the HV/ doctors. Trial and error is how I figured it out :) x

We are doing 3-4 8oz bottles. Porridge or weetabix for breakfast and Ella's kitchen pouch & fruit pouch for lunch with cooled boiled water. Some snacks throughout the day (but not everyday) and also letting him have some nibbles of what I eat if it's appropriate! 😊 it's so confusing isn't it!!

We’re on 3 meals (he loves his food).
2 formula bottles; 6oz in the morning and 8 or 9oz at bedtime.
Then he breastfeeds roughly 6x in a 24hr period. One longer feed when he first wakes in the morning, and sometimes a longer one if he wakes at night hungry. The other feeds through the day tend to be shorter “snacks”.

We do 3 meals a day, currently 4 bottles but looking to reduce this to 3 as she’s not fussed by the mid morning one and will swap for a snack

We are 28-35oz 🙈 porridge in the morning and a pouch or dinner at night if it’s suitable to do BLW xx

A month ahead but my 9mo is on three meals and eats well. He has 4 bottles a day (between 3-7oz depending on the alignment of Venus and Jupiter) and maybe a night feed or two. I spoke to my HV about this about 2 weeks ago and she said this was perfectly acceptable and that milk is still the main nutrition until 1.

4x 8oz bottles
2 meals everyday, slowly working our way to 3 meals

My boy is 8.5months, hes has 3 meals plus 3 bottles of between 6-7oz... he eats food well, struggles with bottles, to the point he was totally skipping the 4th bottles, we stopped giving it to him and he hasnt batted an eyelid. Also give water at every meal
We space bottles and meals between 2-3hours apart
Last bottle before he goes to bed between 7.30 and 8.30pm - nothing overnight then

I totally understand the confusion as we also seem to get different advice depending on who we talk to. Our LB is 8.5 months and has 3 meals a day: a porridge based brekkie, a savoury puree for lunch and a fruit based puree mid afternoon. We also do BLW alongside the purées but it’s really hit or miss how much he eats of the finger food. He normally has 1-2 bottles overnight of anywhere between 4-8oz (super unpredictable), one when he wakes up but the amount depends on how much he has drunk overnight so could be 3-8oz, sometimes 1-2 small bottles during the day depending on how much food he’s eaten so between 2-6oz and then a big bedtime bottle of 8-9oz. As you can see, it’s a bit all over place 😅 but on average he’ll consume roughly 20-28oz milk in a day, we just follow his lead xx
I went for my scan with window to the womb and had calculated to be exactly 7 weeks from last period but in the scan they said it’s a pregnancy of unknown location and the small sac they can see, they can’t confirm if it’s a very early gestational sac or a pseudosac and have referred my to the hospital for bloods.
Has anyone had anything like this?
Not feeling very positive atm

I had a c-section 2nd August (4 weeks) and the pain did start getting so much better by week 3 where I wasn’t feeling any pain at all and thought I was recovering well. However the last couple days I have been experiencing pain again in my lower tummy. My scar looks and feels fine it’s just the lower part of my tummy that I’m experiencing pain again. The pain feels exactly like how it was right at the start of my recovery!! Anyone else had this?

I'm almost 6 weeks pregnant and started light bleeding a few days ago and happen most in day not in night. My hospital ultrasound isn't until next week and I'm really stressed about what this could mean. Has anyone else experienced this and how did you cope while waiting?

I had my baby 5 months ago via emergency C-section as he was breech. I healed really well and my little boy is so chilled that he’s already got me thinking about giving him a sibling 😂
I know the recommendation I was given was to wait 12–18 months, but I’d really like to speak to a medical professional about it properly, as I wasn’t given much information at the time.
Who would be the best person to reach out to? I feel like my GP probably wouldn’t be much help, but at the same time, the only contact I have for the midwives is maternity triage, which surely isn’t really for questions like this?
I’d just like to have a proper conversation about the risks, timing and what would be best following an emergency C-section before making any decisions.
