Any successful vbac stories after an early breech baby?

Hey everyone, I’m currently 25 weeks pregnant with my second. Just had an antenatal appointment and I mentioned that I thought he may be breech because all the movement I feel is very low in my pelvis. The midwife confirmed he is breech, but wasn’t concerned and told me not to worry yet, he’s still small and has time and room to turn. She suggested acupuncture from 30-32 weeks if he’s still breech, as it can aid with him turning and provided some resources, like spinning babies etc. I’m just wondering if anyone else had this experience and still proceeded to have a successful vbac? Was there anything you did to assist with the baby turning? I feel like my biggest concern this time is baby’s position, considering I feel like my first being posterior contributed to my labour failing to progress, but having a breech baby would be even worse!

My daughter was breech.
I read into manual turning and was horrified so I didn’t do that.

I tried spinning babies, followed so much stuff and she just never turned.
Tired acupuncture. I spent a small fortune on different things. She just didn’t want to turn, unfortunately.

However, my c section was amazing. Was really calm environment.
Healed super quick. I loved it. 🥰

People do have success with breech births though. Maybe ask about that.

Hopefully your baby will move, you’ve still got time on your side at the moment 🩷

Funnily enough the only baby I’ve had that was head down the whole time was the one I had an emergency c section with 😅 I’ve had 3 VBACs and they were all breech until at least 28 weeks! I did the breech tilt upside down on an ironing board with 2 of them to turn them 🫶🏻

How did you leave the hospital after a C section?

Did you walk? How far?

Wheelchair? Combination? Who pushed your wheelchair? Who carried baby? Did you have a long walk to the car park?

Did you have a choice? Did the hospital offer you the option?

Hospital capacity- c sections!

I am due a planned c section with my second as I had a 3rd degree tear with lasting pelvic floor issues with my first birth.

I have also had some growth scans where babies femur is measuring below the 0th percentile.

My planned c section has been booked for 39+6 at 5pm. This seems incredibly late and I’m worried that it will be pushed back to the next day due to emergencies in theatre. (I am aware it is still within the planned 39 weeks range).

I spoke to my consultant who said it because of the high rate of expectant births due between now and the end of September.

I didn’t even realise that September was a popular month for births and never considered that this might affect how quickly I can get a planned c section.

I had a very quick delivery with my first. With start to end of labour being less than 4 hours. I’m worried I will go into natural labour first. Anyone experienced this?

Anyone else perpetually up late?

Just finished folding and putting it away a month of laundry (I’m 4 weeks post partum as of today) while hubby fed some of what I’d pumped to baby - and still need to shower and eat dinner. It’s 12:15 AM 😭

⚠️ TMI WARNING GIRLS — THIS IS A “WE’RE ALL WOMEN HERE” TYPE OF POST 😭😂🫣 ⚠️

Okay girls!! Please help me out because I am SO frustrated 😭😭

I’m so used to sex hurting during and afterward that I almost feel like I’ve just accepted it at this point, but it has gotten SO much worse. I get constant pain and aching, and TMI, but after sex I get INSANELY swollen down there. Like I can literally tell when I’m walking that everything is swollen. When I touch my “lips” they feel SO full, if that makes sense 😭 I’ve even gotten a mirror out because I’m desperate to actually see what’s going on, and it is red and seriously swollen afterward.

I’ve seen 4 different OBs and I feel like I’m getting nowhere. They’ve tested me for infections/STIs and all of that has been negative. I’ve basically tried everything they’ve suggested except birth control, which is a HUGE no for me.

It used to only happen every once in a while, but now it’s basically every single time we have sex. Even inserting can hurt. I’ve learned that if I’m on top, I can control things better and avoid as much pain during, but then afterward I’m still dealing with all the swelling and pain.

And I also get SEVERE UTI symptoms—burning, urgency, that constant feeling like I need to pee, pelvic pressure, etc.—but then I’ll get tested and I don’t actually have a UTI. 😭 It’s so frustrating because I KNOW what a UTI feels like, but the tests keep coming back negative. That’s also part of why my urologist has mentioned possibly looking into something like interstitial cystitis.

And honestly, it has really affected our sex life. 😭 My husband is actually SO sweet and supportive and will turn down sex a lot of the time because he knows what I’m going to have to deal with afterward. It’s not because either of us doesn’t want to—it’s because I’m tired of being in pain every single time.

Condoms hurt me too, so we don’t use them. I also don’t use lube because I’m SO sensitive and I’m scared I’ll react to something in it and make everything even worse.

I’m supposed to eventually have a cystoscopy, but because I’m pregnant right now, it sounds like I may have to wait until after I give birth next year. 😭 And honestly, waiting that long when I’m already dealing with this constantly feels impossible.

I don’t even know what I’m looking for by posting this. Maybe advice, maybe someone who has experienced something similar, or maybe I just need to VENT because this is mentally, physically, and emotionally exhausting. It’s so frustrating to constantly know something isn’t right but not have anyone actually be able to tell me WHY.

Has anyone experienced severe swelling/redness and pain after sex + UTI symptoms with negative urine tests and actually found an answer?? Or found anything that helped?? I’m seriously at a loss and will take ANY ideas at this point. 😭❤️

Petty?

One of my biggest cravings has been a roll and bacon with tomato sauce. I go to college and 99% of the time I get a roll for breakfast. Is it petty if I speak to the woman who serves it, she always gives me bits of bacon with no fat and I feel like it ruins the roll. Tbf I’m likely going to throw it up anyway but I really want the fat, it’s the best part.
