Am I being wrong ?

Long story short, when I got pregnant I had a talk with my fiancé that he would stop getting drunk and smoking. He promised that he would never do that ever again . Baby is 10 months now and he broke this promise already 100 times . And the worst part is that he is just lying looking directly into my eyes saying I did not smoke ( also i came home today after walking with our baby and he finished the beer alone at home wtf middle of the day ) . And he is always telling me I’m overreacting and it’s not that serious. But somehow when we were for 2 months with his parents he did not want to smoke or drink . Like why should I get this version of him?
Please do not leave comments like leave him etc it’s impossible now !

And I’m breastfeeding so obviously I’m not drinking or smoking somehow for almost 2 years now and he cannot hold himself 😮‍💨
Like maybe he is lying about other things while looking directly into my face

I am going to give you some tough love girl. I'm sure you've heard this but we CANNOT control anyone else's actions especially if there are elements of addiction involved. That man will only stop smoking and drinking if and when he really wants to and is ready to make a change not just because you've asked him to. Even if you didn't ask and he promised but he's going back to it means he's not ready to make a change right now. Now you know what you are dealing with and if you don't want to leave him absolutely fine but he has and is showing you this is who he is at this stage in his life. So as the saying goes when someone shows you who they are...believe them! Not saying he might not or can't ever change but you have to accept he might not and can you live with him as he is now or potentially the rest of your life. A saying that changed my life is... Life is hard so choose your hard that you are willing to accept and deal with.

Look up a woman on YouTube called 'put the shovel down'. She's an addiction counselor who works with the families and puts a lot of free content online. It's helping me see what I'm doing wrong - but it's still a very painful waiting game...

U thought a baby can change a man??

You cant change or control him so you either accept that he will lie to you disrespect you and not care. Or leave its no such thing as its to late.

My 12m won’t settle at nursery and I don’t know what to do.

I have been trying to start my daughter at nursery for 2 months now and she just screams and screams until they inevitably call me back to get her. We have been doing a settlement for 2 months where I walk out the room for 1 hour and come back and get her. She screams so intently it actually sounds like she is in pain. They staff will usually call me back in before the hour is up because she is just inconsolable. I am at a loss at what to do now. I assumed this would go away in time but it’s not got better, if anything it’s gotten worse! Her dad has also tried to drop her to see if it helped but she was the same with him. When I am in the room she plays happily and is actually very confident and social. Has anyone else had this problem and did it eventually resolve itself? I’m at the point where I don’t know if I can keep putting her in.

“Homeschooling”

My son just turned 2 and compared to at least his cousins his vocabulary is amazing! You can talk to him and he’ll try to talk back even in his own words. Anyways I want to work with him more and I know there’s people that say he don’t need it but might as well do a few min here and there if I’m a SAHM. Is there any curriculums you follow or have found like worksheets you do. What do I need to buy, follow you’re more than welcome to leave links to anything I just need help where to start and activities and how to correlate them together with the learning of a specific thing.

Cold sore?

I noticed these red spots around my toddlers mouth, she is teething and having a lot of saliva and because she’s teething is wanting her dummy a lot more.

Does this look like spots from moisture or cold sores??

Anyone else feel like a single mother?

My baby is almost 14 weeks, my husband works full time and I love him so much but I just feel so alone.

He works 9-5, 5 days a week and is tired when he comes home so he has a nap, this means I look after baby 24 hours a day, he might do a bottle or 2, and a nappy change or 2 but I do everything 99% of the time. I have tried to get him to help more but this is what I signed up for being a SAHM😩

I love our girl so much and I love him so much too but I feel like I’m doing it all on my own and can’t keep having the same conversation over and over asking for him to do more to be told he’s so tired! I’m tired too😩 I feel like I’m a single mum and at this point I feel like I wouldn’t even notice a difference doing it completely alone! But I can’t leave because I love him so much!

I do all of the night feeds and then the day so I have her from 12pm all the way through until 6pm and even after that I still lay with her, entertain her, feed and change her.

I just don’t know what else to do aside from rant here!

Parents in law dirty habits

I feel really bad even thinking about it, but I’m really struggling with the idea of my parents in law taking care of our baby.

I adore my husband, and his parents are always super nice to me. However, I have always struggled with their cleaning and hygiene habits. For example, their toilet is often very dirty, they lick the spoons they use while cooking, their fridge contains items that have been there for 20 years, their clothes are often dirty, and they spit while speaking and eating.

I’m really worried about raising this concern with my husband because I’m afraid it could become a serious issue within our family. Unfortunately, my own parents live in America( I trust them 100% to take care of our baby).

Does anyone have any advice or suggestions?

Sorry just need a vent 😭😭

Pregnancy with a toddler is so hard when you have no one to depend on! I’ve felt quite unwell since last night and I took my toddler to nursery today and hoping some rest and nap during the day would help me feel better! I still don’t feel right and google and ChatGPT is saying I should probably go to the maternity triage but I feel like I can’t because my toddler need to be pick up from nursery at 2:30 and I’ve rang my partner multiple times saying I don’t feel good and he keep saying I will call you back in 10 mins and it’s been over an hour since I last heard from him and all my calls are going to voicemail, i rang his work phone too and it rang then as it was about to go to voicemail he declined the call! I’m more concerned about my little one at nursery and not having anyone to pick her up if I end up in triage for hours! My partner never answers his phone, I have to constantly call until he gets fed up then answers the phone annoyed at me for calling! I don’t know what to do at this point! 😭😭
