I can’t do this!

I’m so confused. I keep seeing people who have no issues sleeping with their babies or near their babies. I can’t! It’s been like 3, 4 weeks? IDk. Today it feels like I just hit a wall. I’ve tried the swaddling, and she still stirs and makes noises that wakes me up. I’ve tried the bed sharing. She still moves and fusses and squirms. I’m so tired. I dread nighttime because I know there’s no way I’m going to actually sleep. During the day I can hand baby to hubby and get some chunks of sleep, but at night, every little sound just wakes me up. I don’t know what to do.

After speaking with our pediatrician, we moved baby into her own room. I wasn't sleeping. I woke up to every little noise. She slept in her crib safely.

Yeah, babies are actually quite loud sleepers.
I know a lot of people swear by a noise machine so that they can sleep through a little easier.
When you pass her to your husband, make sure you're getting at least 3 hours in one chunk, so that you can get at least one REM session in. That's deep sleep, and you need that to keep going.

Our plan is for husband to take 8pm-2am and for me to take 2am-8am. Would something like this be possible for you two?

I bought some loop earplugs and it helped me massively! Every wriggle, cough, inhale that sounded funny, turn over etc I would wake - it was getting to up to 10 times a night, and the baby was actually only really wake maybe 3/4 times. Once I had those the little noises didn’t wake me and I only woke up when he properly woke up, I could still hear everything I needed to! Now he’s in his own room the monitor doesn’t pick up the tiny noises to I don’t need to wear them anymore and I only wake up with him maybe twice a night 🙏

Sleeping

Curious as to when we start leaving our babies to wake up by themselves during the night??.

My little girl is six weeks and (touch wood🪵) has always been a great sleeper. I am still waking up during the night to wake her up for a feed as she would sleep all night if I let her.

She’s currently on 150ml every 3 hrs and 180ml before bedtime. She has had a good weight gain and perfectly healthy?? Should I just leave her till she wakes up herself?? What’s everybody else’s experiences?? 🙈Xxx

Husband doesn’t want me to get a boob job

I brought up possibly wanting one after I’m done breastfeeding. I’ve breast fed all 3 kids and when this baby is done I would want to get it. My boobs changed a lot from breast feeding I think they are uneven & saggy now. I wouldn’t get huge ones just natural but my husband says he doesn’t like that and it’s “fake”. I told him it would just to make me feel good in my own body but he’s really against it. What should I do?

Colostrum

Hii everyone! First-time pregnant mum here, and I have a silly question 😂 How do you actually collect colostrum? Do you just start hand expressing it, or do you only do it when you notice it leaking?

Keeping babies from under the couch

What are we using to keep our little ones and toys from going under the couch, I’m extremely limited to space in my house so her play area will literally be right at the couch. I’ve seen the plastic one and a stretchy kind on Amazon but I’m not sure what’s more durable.
