I’m the same! He wants nothing to do with rolling tummy time just sort of sitting he has really bad reflux so hates any tummy time

My LO had only rolled probably a handful of times, both ways but then basically stopped about two weeks ago but randomly today has rolled about 20 times x

I’m the same! My LO did it at 3 months a bit, then 4 and did a bit the other week but nothing since!

Every baby is different, please don’t compare. They will do it in their own time. My daughter has just in the last week or so mastered doing it consistently, she’s 5.5months. Don’t worry xx

One of my twin boys is like this, yet the other one is constantly rolling! I get so worried! Xxx

Same. Mine rolled back to tummy, hates it and now hasn’t done it much since.

My LG is similar. Not hugely interested but I'm really not bothered because she's hitting all other milestones and sometimes baby's skip certain things and move straight on to other things. They are still only 5 months and crawling will come later. They tend to do it in their own time I've come to learn x

5.5/6 months is super young to crawl and unusual, I think there are a lot of proud 1st time mums on this app wanting to celebrate. My first actually did crawl at 5.5 and it was so out of the blue all my Nct and friends didn’t crawl for another 3 months or so. It was actually really annoying as going out with them they could all sit and have a picnic with a coffee while I had to chase around my baby and stop them eating grass!! Enjoy the non-moving baby and relax! My current March baby is no where near crawling to much of their annoyance as they just scream when in tummy time as can’t move. (Also to say my first probably leant to to roll last of all the skills - went from crawling to sitting to standing all before rolling)
I love my daughter more than anything. I would do absolutely anything for her, and I know this is just a hard day… but fuck, I hate this.
I just cannot get a minute to myself.
The ONLY time she stops crying is when she’s breastfeeding. Half the time she’s not even feeding - she’s just using me as a pacifier. Ironically, she won’t actually take a pacifier. Formula gives her the shits and makes her belly grumble, so I can’t even have someone else take over a feed and give me a break.
My partner is at work. “Why don’t you ask your mum to come over and help?”
Help how? She won’t stop crying for her. I don’t need someone to do my washing or make me a cup of tea. I just want to be able to put a dummy in her mouth or put her down in her bed and have ten fcking minutes where nobody needs me.
I miss having adult conversations. I miss seeing my friends. I miss doing my skincare. I miss being able to brush my teeth without thinking, “I need to get to sleep RIGHT NOW before she wakes up again.”
I miss having a moment where my body and my time feel like they belong to me.
I love her so, so much. I know this stage won’t last forever. I know there will be easier days.
But today is fucking hard.
I’ve never felt so broken

I’m curious about real life experiences rather than just the official recommendations! How old was your baby when you first let them watch something, and how much did you allow?
Any regrets about starting too early or wishing you’d started sooner? Has anyone noticed anything surprising, either positive or negative, that went against what you’d been told about screen time?
No judgement at all, just genuinely curious about everyone’s experiences! ❤️

Hey! I am nearly 28 weeks pregnant with my first and haven't decided if we'll set up babies room before she arrives or when she's here?
I would love advice from people who have been there.
My thoughts are why set up a room and lose a guest room if she wont use that room for at least 6 months?
But my other thoughts are...
1. Will it be harder to paint and build furniture with a baby?
2. Will the house feel more organised/newborn life be easier if all her bits have a place in her room rather than scattered?
What did you do? and would you do it differently now you've lived it?
TIA x

Curious as to when we start leaving our babies to wake up by themselves during the night??.
My little girl is six weeks and (touch wood🪵) has always been a great sleeper. I am still waking up during the night to wake her up for a feed as she would sleep all night if I let her.
She’s currently on 150ml every 3 hrs and 180ml before bedtime. She has had a good weight gain and perfectly healthy?? Should I just leave her till she wakes up herself?? What’s everybody else’s experiences?? 🙈Xxx

How do we feel about communal changing rooms at swimming baths? We took my son to a lovely little local pool, the staff were amazing with him and he loved every second but the changing rooms really put me off. Men and women are separated but there’s no privacy and it’s a tiny room? I think this is a deal breaker but my husband says i’m being a bit dramatic- he’s not the one taking him though!

I brought up possibly wanting one after I’m done breastfeeding. I’ve breast fed all 3 kids and when this baby is done I would want to get it. My boobs changed a lot from breast feeding I think they are uneven & saggy now. I wouldn’t get huge ones just natural but my husband says he doesn’t like that and it’s “fake”. I told him it would just to make me feel good in my own body but he’s really against it. What should I do?
