Night feed

Where is everyone doing their night feeds? I breast feed and then I have to pump because my son has tongue tie and that's what I was advised to do. My son is really good at sleeping at night, he'll eat and then go back to sleep, or have his nappy changed and then go back to sleep. Both with no intervention. Because of this I feed him and pump him in bed next to my husband.
Where does everyone else feed their little ones?

In my front room downstairs. This way, it just takes the pressure off and we can be free to make a bit more noise without worrying about disturbing anyone else. My boy is an angel but sometimes nappy changes can bring on a few tears x

In bed. How come you need to pump though? My son has tongue tie as does my eldest and i was never told to express. As long as they latch ok which they both have done then its fine x

Sleeping

Curious as to when we start leaving our babies to wake up by themselves during the night??.

My little girl is six weeks and (touch wood🪵) has always been a great sleeper. I am still waking up during the night to wake her up for a feed as she would sleep all night if I let her.

She’s currently on 150ml every 3 hrs and 180ml before bedtime. She has had a good weight gain and perfectly healthy?? Should I just leave her till she wakes up herself?? What’s everybody else’s experiences?? šŸ™ˆXxx

Husband doesn’t want me to get a boob job

I brought up possibly wanting one after I’m done breastfeeding. I’ve breast fed all 3 kids and when this baby is done I would want to get it. My boobs changed a lot from breast feeding I think they are uneven & saggy now. I wouldn’t get huge ones just natural but my husband says he doesn’t like that and it’s ā€œfakeā€. I told him it would just to make me feel good in my own body but he’s really against it. What should I do?

Colostrum

Hii everyone! First-time pregnant mum here, and I have a silly question šŸ˜‚ How do you actually collect colostrum? Do you just start hand expressing it, or do you only do it when you notice it leaking?

Keeping babies from under the couch

What are we using to keep our little ones and toys from going under the couch, I’m extremely limited to space in my house so her play area will literally be right at the couch. I’ve seen the plastic one and a stretchy kind on Amazon but I’m not sure what’s more durable.
