I turn 27 this month and my husband and I are broke. I am a stay at home mom with our first (and only) baby. Before having our son, I was in such a good position in my career and now I feel like I’ve started over. I’m in my late 20’s with nothing to show. Y this normal/common? I feel like a failure and I’m anxious to return to work, but I have a Velcro baby and also want to just enjoy his early years.

They don't understand their privileges,
What sahm are worth , they think life was handed to them , that everything revolves around them . I hate the patriarchy, I hate that I fell for it , I had children and lost my income , I didn't finish college , for a man that doesn't love me ♂️🤡🔥

It’s been three years now and I still think about what happened. I never mention it because I decided to stay. I was so loyal to him—to a fault, really. 10 years pissed away all for what? Something has changed within me and I crave more. Thanks for letting me vent. xo
