Does anyone have any tips or tricks? My son has a speech delay, but otherwise he’s doing great developmentally and his speech therapist says all of his other skills are amazing!
He’s actually starting to show signs that he might be ready for potty training. He points to the toilet, wants to sit on the toilet, and if his diaper is even a little wet, he’ll bring me a new diaper to change him 😂.
I’m thinking about starting soon, but I’d love to hear what worked for other moms, especially with a toddler who has a speech delay!

We started at 20 months just to introduce the idea. She has her own potty that she sits on no matter what. Even if the diaper is already wet. We didn't change the diaper anywhere else. And we would always pull the diaper down instead of using the side tears. When she would pee or poop in her toilet we celebrates with a high five and/or clapping. We also try to use the adult toilet with her as much as possible. If no pee or poop we just remind her to tell us when she feels the pee pee in her tummy. We used some sign language since she was 6 months so we just made up our own sign for toilet. After a couple months and she got the hang of it we introduced the training underwear and explained that these are for big girls and they aren't for getting wet like diapers are. She still had accidents for a while until she got the hang of it. Mostly cuz she didn't like getting wet and then helping to clean up the mess.
She's potty trained now at 28 months. It was a long slow process but very little tears or drama.
Hey!
I’m just wondering about sending my boys to a nursery. They’re 6 months old twin boys and I’m so uncertain on what to do. Like, do I even go back to work or do I stay home and just be skint or do I go back to work. If I do send them nursery what’s the process for this? What’s the monthly cost going to look like for both to be in nursery 4/5 days a week. My partner is a high school teacher but in a different area so sometimes the school holidays don’t sync up. I do have my mother in law who will have them every now and again, same with my mum. My mind is spinning hahaha

Can anyone tell me why people feel so entitled to not RSVP and still think they can show up let alone with their friends or their children’s friends who you don’t know . My family is crying and throwing a sissy fit because I sent this message but quite frankly I don’t see anything rude about it since I’m spending MY money to throw an event

My fiance has depression along with other conditions and it’s just a lot at the moment. This year has been a lot for us emotionally and financially but Its like he’s always getting on at me, looking for arguments, going through my phone, monitoring where I am etc. I can’t even have a social life! It was my close friends 25th at the beginning of the month and I missed it even though it was from 7 till late all because he hid the keys and said no. He doesn’t even trust me around gay men like I am trying but it’s becoming draining! I don’t want to be with him anymore but I feel bad for feeling this way 😔 when I spoke to my work friends they spoke as if this is what relationships are not always as fun especially when you’re older and that I shouldn’t nitpick so much because he’s going through a rough patch. Problem is I feel like I always get the bad end of the stick every single depressive episode!
I have been at my parents the last week almost and I feel even MORE stressed because he’s always texting me accusing me of cheating or doing something behind his back. We havent been engaged long now but gosh I want to cancel it already

My son who is 3 and half did brilliantly with the potty training back in may, or just before, and now suddenly he’s not using the toilet at home at all unless it’s a poo, he will use it Olof we go out or if we go to another persons house but at home he just refuses and I’m getting to the end of my rope with it!!! Any one help with what to do and yes there’s been a major disruption in life me and my partner have split but it started before then, obviously the split hasn’t helped the situation

He used to at least eat greek yogurt in the morning, and i would add oats and chia seeds, but he is not even wanting to eat that anymore.
