I think my 2 year old son was just tired today but he was rolling around, throwing things, running off and it became so stressful that I just left the group.
Felt like quite a bad parent even though he's usually fine and enjoys it.

He's 2, it happens. Sure every parent has experienced that in some way.

It has not happened to me (yet!) but it could and there is absolutely no issue with that! Honestly, don't worry about it, you did well to leave today but go again next time and hopefully it'll all be fine. You're absolutely not a bad parent, they have their bad days, just like we do! xx
Thanks!

Totally normal. Keep going! All parents go through it.

Yes. It's also important to teach them that some behaviors are not ok. Once my son was acting very bad (he surely had reasons to be but yet these behaviors were unacceptable) I took our stuff, said goodbye and left the place. Once in the car I asked him if he understood the reasons why we left so early? And explained to him that the behaviors were not ok and that if he behave this way we can't keep playing. He was a bit sad but never happened again. I mean a bad parents to me wouldn't do anything about their child's behaviors justifying it like "kids will be kids" or worse "boys will be boys"... To me a good parents knows when to leave and also work it through with the child
In the process of starting to potty train my little on. Just wanted to ask mama's which pottys you would recommend?

My little girl is three and she will often follow me into the toilet so when I'm on my period she sees it and it's not something I hide from her and I know she's curious about what it is but I don't quite know how to address it...
Like we're very honest and open about things and we use the correct anatomical names for body parts etc and I want to be honest and open with her about this because it will happen to her one day... But I'm having a hard time understanding how to do it at the right level for her that will help her understand but also not scare her? Cause if I say "it's blood and it will happen one day to you to" - to a three year old surely that is absolutely terrifying 😂
Any tips?

I'm just needing to vent honestly as I've had such a shitty morning.
My son finishes nursery at 11:45am every day, but they like parents to pick up between 11:35-40. I am there to pick him up on time every single day without.
I also have a baby, who I need to take with me to pick up.
Today as I was leaving I was literally picking her up to put her in the the pram and she done a massive poo. I quickly put her down on her mat and changed her, and then left. It took me a few minutes but I still managed to arrive for 11:45. I know this is technically 'late' for their preferred pick up times but I figured they'd understand a few minutes.
I buzz to get in and as the lady opens the door for me I go to apologise for being a few minutes late but before I even get a chance to get a word out she says "can I just remind you pick up time is 11:40" in such a horrible tone, talking to me like a child. I says sorry and explained it was just typical baby had a dirty nappy as I was trying to leave trying to lighten the mood a little. She then goes on to tell me that all the children who stay til 3 have their lunch at 11:45, so I need to make sure I'm here at 11:40, because now my son is crying because he was told he isn't getting lunch with the other kids. She was laying it on really thick that my son was upset and it was my fault because I was late. She repeated like 3 times that he was *really* upset. I was stood there feeling so small and guilty and thinking wow well you've just spent at least 3 minutes here explaining how bad it is that I was late, turning 5 minutes into 8 minutes but okay... I apologised.
Then she goes to fetch my son, and he comes out smiling and runs over to me for a cuddle. She then comes over with a tissue and starts going on again like "aw he was so upset" and wiping his face even though he wasn't crying? She was like "see I told you mummy was coming" and then she turned back to me and says "I had to keep telling him mummy will be here in 2 minutes, she'll be here in a few minutes, she's just coming" like I'm sorry but I was 5 MINUTES LATE.
I know I was wrong for being late. I apologised several times. I would understand her tone if maybe I was late all the time but I'm never late. Ever. I just left feeling so guilty and embarrassed and needed to vent😔

I came out of hospital on Tuesday night after having surgery for an ectopic pregnancy.
I am in pain and haven't left the house apart from to pick my daughter up from nursery last night. I don't feel confident driving yet so my partner drove. Last night before we left for nursery we found he had a flat tyre. I said to just use my car until the tyre gets fixed today.
He needs to go to his friends to collect the tire then fit it. He's asked to go to his friends as soon as we've dropped our daughter off at nursery but I just want to come home. I've tried to explain I'm not in the mood to see people, sit in peoples company and I just want to go home to rest but he's saying I'm being unreasonable and it'll only take 20 minutes. I've asked if he can just drop me off home and he can go to his mates but he's not happy.
Am I being unreasonable?

i don’t know why but i feel like i suck at being a mom.
my baby just turned 2 last week and yes i know “ terrible two’s” but my kid has always been bad. i do discipline when needed, i get him in trouble but he just does not care. i feel like im not meant to be a mom i don’t know i just suck. my kid does not take me serious he thinks it’s a joke. i can’t even get my own child into a routine and i thought i was doing good by putting him down for naps by a certain time and bedtime now it’s just a fail. his meltdowns are insane and then his stupid dad doesn’t help me out much. while i’m stuck dealing with my kid his dad can sleep like nothing.
