This may come across petty but not letting someone sit and slag us off in posts 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

So we have a groupchat absolutely lovely!! There’s this one girl sandy removed herself yesterday as apparently we were mean etc etc but wasn’t the case, she was judgy asf!! She was practically having a go at me cos my baby was in a nappy at 10 months and had a fever bearing in mind which I was trying to control! She said we were nasty cos we said an energy drink goes under your daily caffeine intake while pregnant said we were nasty cos one of the girls left her baby downstairs with his grandad crying so she could get a shower in peace, said we were nasty cos watching American horror story while the baba is asleep is the same as arguing infront of your kid, apparently it’s mental abuse! Then she went on saying that she’s hit a parent before on school grounds for there kid pushing there’s so we were just expressing our opinion then all of a sudden we were jealous!! Bearing in mind everytime someone said something she had it 10x worse or better than that person, someone mentioned they had epilepsy, then she said she had a brain thing which caused seizures, like she had to talk about herself 24/7 and not let anyone talk about there feelings or experiences, she was always lecturing us about things bragging about making her house spotless with one hand, she did everything one handed with the baba on her other hip, just wanted to post this out there as she commented on another post and deleted her comments and I just find it very childish to delete them, saying all this nasty shit about us then not letting us defend ourselves :)

I think most and I’m not saying all but most mom groups chats act like mean girls who still have high school level pettiness. I think if it’s just not your “village” or your cup of tea you don’t have to provoke it or escalate it. Hope you ladies can figure it out :)

I don’t understand the need for the post& only posting her message when clearly something has led up to this.
Sounds like she’s just sharing her parenting style to me? On the flip side, I see it from the posters point of view as I’m sure if every time I said something someone countered how they do it, I’d also feel like I was being judged a little but it may not have been her intention.
I think what crosses the line, is the jello b comment. Calling the mums lazy for leaving their child undressed / in pyjamas. Telling mums they shouldn’t be putting themselves first. You may not have been judging at first but that message then becomes very judgmental, if they were being nasty first, you could have left the chat instead of making that comment.
In my eyes, you’ve left the group, the post isn’t necessary, you ladies don’t know each other in person so I’d just delete the post and all go your separate ways.
You aren’t going to like everyone you meet and that’s okay.

This is just fully embarrassing on both parts. Why are we causing issues on an app that’s supposed to be about finding friends and supporting each other? This is exactly why I keep myself to myself. You’re meant to be mothers? Take a look at yourselves and stop acting like children.

At end of day I only made this post to show what she was like, as she will go do it again to other people, the fact she tried to rejoin the group chat too about 5 minutes ago and be the one calling us all names under the sun, is a joke, just was a warning as if she did it to us she will do it to other people already said I don’t care if it sounds petty but kicking off as she didn’t like the fact we disagreed with her hitting a parent on school grounds in literally what started it!

Nursery consumables

We pay £20 a day extra on a funded day (10 hours a day) it’s £10 for consumables and £10 enhanced provision. It’s all itemised on the invoice and 25p an hour is nappies and 75p and hour food, my son hasn’t worn nappies for months and nursery have also stopped the morning snack without making it common knowledge but the price hasn’t changed. The enhanced provision they have said covers things such as using bikes, hi viz jackets, drinks such as cows milk, sensory play, painting aprons etc they have literally covered everything in suprised they haven’t charged for the air they’re breathing in there 😅 all of the above I believe are covered in the core element of EYFS and shouldn’t be charged extra for?!

Feeling lonely😅

A few days ago, I drove to a local park to get myself and my baby some fresh air. We have well and truly been in the trenches so it was definitely a mental health walk. While I was paying for parking I saw a few other mams getting g their babies out of cars and into pushchairs but I thought nothing of it and I didn’t see them anywhere along the walk.

At the end of the walk I went to the cafe, and honestly I felt no better. I’d been walking around crying, I was exhausted and desperately needing a break but the only thing to stop my baby crying was to walk and walk and walk. I was just feeling sorry for myself really. As I sat down outside this cafe, through the window I saw the group of mams all sat around a few tables, talking together. A few saw me sat outside, clearly upset. But not one approached me, asked if I was okay or if I wanted to join. Addmitedly I didn’t approach them either, but I knew if i was a mam sat in that group and saw a mother crying on her own, I would not ignore her. Being ignored made me even more upset and I left shortly after.

Honestly not sure if i was valid in being upset, but it’s so unlike me and i’m putting it down to hormones and sleep deprivation. I guess I’d just like to share, please don’t leave other mams out, even if you don’t know them a smile or a hello would go a long way :)

Winter is coming?

Hey mamas just wanted some advice to prep for winter.

My son is 15 months and is still in his cot. When is the appropriate time to buy him a duvet, he has been using 2.5 tog coverlets.

Can duvets be used in the cot?
Or is it only for single beds?

I did read from 18 months they can move to a single bed but we just do not have the space right now.

Can’t cope

This is gonna sound so fucked up but I honestly can’t cope with my 7 month old. She’s waking up 4/5 times a night and it’s driving me fucking insane. I have to be up at 6:30am as I have a toddler and my partner does night shifts so I can’t ask him for shit all. I’m finding myself shouting af the baby and getting really fucking worked up cos I can’t cope with this bullshit waking up every 2 hours. I’m honestly so fucking frustrated even typing this because it’s 4am and I’ve had no sleep tonight this is her 4th wake up. I feel so guilty shouting at her but I’m honestly losing my fucking marbles
