My LO will be 4 months old tomorrow, EBF and has a high energy temperament.
He seemed to hit the regression about 4 weeks ago when he started waking hourly at night. I’m absolutely exhausted and he isn’t even 4 months yet. I 90% of the time feed back to sleep as it’s easier than rocking.
I use huckleberry so watch wake windows, sleepy signals and have been playing around with length of naps but nothing seems to help. He also feeds pretty well during the day so not worried he is relying on night calories. I bring him into bed with me after the first couple of wakes just because he goes down quicker but I don’t really sleep as I’m scared to.
Mums who have been through this before, does it get better on its own or am I going to have to do some kind of training?
I’m on the brink already, this isn’t sustainable. And this surely can’t be good for him waking so regularly?

It’s biologically really normal and won’t do your baby any harm at all, waking is protective of SIDS. They’re looking for your help to transition between sleep cycles. You can’t train sleep, you just teach your baby not to signal when they wake because you won’t be there to help them.
My first hit the 4 month regression and didn’t sleep longer than 1-2 hours until 25 months. We co-slept and it was the only way I survived.
Second baby we’ve co-slept from birth and we still have nights where we wake 1-2 hourly but also get some 2-4 hour stretches at the start of the night.
Co-sleeping doesn’t always improve wakes but not getting in and out of bed will make you feel much less tired. I wake flop a boob out and go back to sleep, less than 5 mins x

We are absolutely in this as sswell and I could have written this post myself 🤯 if you want to direct nessage please do and we can maybe chat more xxx

I haven't been through it yet, but as FTM the previous comment is very scary to read and probably not what you want to hear 🫠...
According to my research (Google, Reddit and other mum chats) most people seem to say that on average it lasts 4-6 weeks and it gets resolved on its own.
Hang in there hopefully you're near the end of it 🫶

I’m sorry I can’t offer any advice, but can offer solidarity! My little ones sleep seemed to start to go south at 14 weeks. We’re now at 18 and still in the thick of it!
She has been waking hourly, in fact a couple of nights it was every 40 mins. Tonight she had two “false starts” after bedtime, where I shushed and patted to sleep, and then wakes so far have been 10:30, 1:30, 3:20 where I’ve fed to sleep. Believe it or not this is a massive improvement on where we’ve been, so wondering if (dare I say it) things are starting to get slightly better?
She also only has 35 min naps (occasional longer one if I’m able to rescue it) so it’s been relentless.
Most of my friends who’ve been through this have done some kind of sleep training, but I haven’t started yet. I’m absolutely desperate for sleep, but also worried about not responding to her needs.
A friend swore by the “little ones” app. I haven’t used it yet so cant recommend, but could be worth looking into?
Sending love xx

My 17week old has done the same. A lot of emotional wake ups every 1hr most nights, only fed back to sleep. The last few nights we have had 2-3hr stretches again- if this is ‘the end’ it lasted approx 6 weeks for us, no sleep training x
My baby girl is 2 weeks and 3 days old, and she cries quite a lot, especially when we change her diaper. We’ve tried things like dipping the wipes in warm water so they don’t feel cold, having a toy nearby, playing soothing music, using a pacifier, etc., but she still gets very upset.
She’s also cluster feeding every 15–20 minutes sometimes, and other times every 30 minutes to an hour. An hour between feeds feels manageable, but the difficult part is that she often contact naps in between. As soon as we put her down, she starts rooting again and searching for the nipple.
Sometimes after a feed, she’ll just keep the nipple in her mouth like a pacifier. And even when she doesn’t seem hungry, she often wants a pacifier during the day.
At night, we’re giving her around 60–90 ml of expressed breast milk via bottle.
I know newborns can be very demanding, but honestly, her crying can feel unbearable sometimes, and I’m finding it really difficult to know whether she’s hungry, needs comfort, or something else is bothering her.
Did anyone else go through something similar around 2–3 weeks? How did you cope with the constant crying, feeding and contact naps? Any tips would be really appreciated. ❤️

Has anyone found anything that genuinely helps hair getting thicker? I used to have the thickest hair, down to my bum. Then after I had my son it just won’t stop falling out. Even now, I’m nearly 15 months PP and every day clumps of hair are falling out, even when I’m sleeping and roll over strands of hair get wrapped around my neck or hands. My hair line is so thin you can just see scalp, and if it wasn’t for how long it is, I’d genuinely look bald. Really starting to worry and stress out about it.

Hey I’m a FTM and during the height of my baby’s 6-8 week fussiness I started feeding him to sleep as it was the only thing that worked. He’s 9 weeks now and wondering what other methods yall do to get your baby to sleep? He really struggles to get to deep sleep any other way except feeding or baby wearing

My baby is 7 months and never taken on or used a pacifier and I am wanting to get him to take one in the evening.
Has anyone successfully gotten their baby to take a paci at such an older age? If so, I how did you do it? What strategies did you have?
TIA x

I’m looking to give away a bunch of my breast milk if anyone needs any. I’m collecting an average of 60oz every 24 hours so my deep freezer is FULL. I don’t want to have to pour it out because I know there are moms/babies in need. PLEASE reach out if you are interested or know of someone who could use it.

My 8 year old daughter cut off her eyelashes at school because her friend told her it was a good idea… I am sick. I genuinely cannot wrap my mind around this. Drop you’re experiences in the comments 😭
