I thought we peaked at 6 weeks but leading up to 8 weeks my baby is putting me through it omggg! The crying, the fussing, the fighting sleep, the extra clingy-ness, it went up x10 this week. Every day this week I’ve had to order food because I couldn’t even get 5 minutes to prepare something. Then I’m eating with him literally on my chest. And this is whilst in the trenches of maternity pay may I add. Thankfully my mom is having him tonight so I can have break but then I feel like I’m still not going to get any sleep because I’ll miss him 😅
Anyway my logic is since it has gotten worse it can only get better! How is everyone else’s 6-8 week stage going?

I know the feeling …. My 7 week old is putting us through it 😭 the fussy pot , acid reflux , grunting in sleep and fighting naps , 40 min naps at a time

In my experience (this is my 4th child lol), 12 weeks is the sweet spot for when they start to be more chill.
My baby girl is 7 weeks on Monday and I honestly expected this past week to be hell! But she’s been ok, yesterday she started at the childminder and I thought she’d come back super clingy and to have been hell for the lady.
But nope, chill, happy to have bottles from my husband in the evening, slept from 7pm-7am with maybe 2-3 short feeds in that time. So much so, I pumped 6oz when I got up because she used one boob as a dummy 😂
I do not trust her 😑 they say 6-8 weeks is the hardest and I feel like this has to be the calm before the storm.
On the plus side, 2 days a week I get to chill 😂 (work, but I love work).

I'm there with you girl! Missy (7 weeks) woke me up crying at 5am, an hour after I put her down, for a 30ml snack 🙄😂

Omg absolutely same feeling!! I’m exactly with you on this one!!!! 😫I can barely, put him down for 5 mins or prepare something to eat! Gosh I sometimes, wonder when this phase will stop, he’s soo clingy, fussy, fighting to go sleep, crying constantly because of colic and when his hungry at 7wks! It’s my first baby too! So this has really been exhausting and traumatic soo far. I’m praying it get’s better when he start’s solids 🙏 atleast I won’t have sleepless nights! 🤦♀️

We have the same in our house my lo has reflux so was a very fussy and crying and just miserable then we got some medication and it got better but now he seems to have gone backwards and is at 8 weeks crying and clingy. We cannot put him down without him waking up and screaming the house down 😩 i also have a 4 yr old and i have clearly erased the bad times with him as i do not remember it being this hard! We are hoping that an adjustment to his medication will help but with the constant crying it is getting me down a bit as we are doing everything we can. They say the change over the next few weeks should show a drastic change and by 3 to 4 months they are different babies but right now its just about taking one week at a time 🥲
I phoned maternity unit because baby wasn’t moving as much, as she can be very quiet but they said all was good with her etc.. they checked her heartbeat and it was strong. like some days she willl move etc all day and others she will not I just don’t like the quiet.. I’m 26weeks tomorrow anyone else feeling like this..

TMI 🙈 I’m 38 weeks and for the past week or so I’ve been constantly going to the toilet to 💩 I’ve seen and heard a lot of people say that it’s your body’s way of telling you that it’s preparing for labour due to hormones etc but I don’t know how much more I can take!! 🙈🤣 My belly is constantly in pain. I’ll go to the toilet then half an hour later I’ll be running back to the loo. Did anyone else experience this towards the end of their final trimester?? I haven’t lost my mucas plug or anything like that, just have a constant pressure on my 🐱 which has caused swelling, been leaking more colostrum than normal and struggling to sleep. If anyone has experienced this, how long did it take you to go into labour? Praying I don’t go over my due date 🤣

I have a 2 year old son, tonight he was laying in bed for the past hour watching tv- I looked over and he had blood all over his face. He hasnt had random nosebleeds before other than when he hit his nose. Is this something I should be worried about? It stopped before I even noticed it. He isnt wanting me to wipe his nose or look up there but its coming out of one nostril only. Ive never had a nosebleed before is that common?

First off he's here! 3:30pm weighing 9lbs 🩵 it was a rough C-section, needed the spinal done twice, vomited, they needed to repair old scar damage, make a new incision and cut through muscle and lastly needed a vacuum to get little one out. If you had the same issue with spinal, did it cause any complications down the line?
