Is being too overprotective and 'spoiling' my baby really a bad thing?

I've been told I'm overprotective and spoiling my baby. Has anyone else experienced this? How do you handle it and feel confident in your parenting choices?

I don’t think you can “spoil” a baby, they just need all the love 💛 unfortunately everybody loves to have opinions about parenting styles, but you know your baby best and what they need.

Please don’t listen to anyone else but your instincts. Babies are meant to be ‘spoiled’ loved and doted on. You’re doing great!

You can’t spoil a baby. Get all the cuddles and contact naps you can. It’s not called spoiling a baby it’s called loving a baby and being a mum.

I don't think you can spoil a baby, they're a baby they can't manipulate you. They cry because they need the closeness and comfort and anyone who says otherwise don't know what they're talking about. You keep doing what you're doing, you're doing great ❤️

Seasoned moms!♡

Giving birth soon, 4th and last baby currently 33weeks and feeling baby low into my pelvis. My question is how soon did you have your baby (naturally not induction) ?! Humor me a lil I know its all up to baby and the body being ready but I feel like baby is coming so soon 😭

Pregnancy Anxiety

I need some advice/tips on handling anxiety during pregnancy. I’m 16 weeks, have had 2 private + 2 nhs scans - I have had nothing to indicate something is going wrong however I can’t help but worry constantly that something bad is going to happen!

I felt a flutter/movement yesterday, but not today, so naturally I am spiralling again.

I just want to know if this is normal? When I have mentioned it to the midwife she tells me anxiety is normal for first time pregnancies but I don’t know if worry to this level is concerning or not?

Thank you 🙏

Calories in first trimester?

I’m 4’11 and currently eating 1850 calories but all the calculators out there say I should be eating around 1600.

What was your caloric intake take in first trimester and if you don’t mind sharing height and weight too! Trying to just gauge if I’m really that far off
