I purchased one from Amazon and honestly it made my day hearing out little boys heartbeat at home! We are 16w6 and I played about with it for a while, YouTubed a few videos on the different sounds I could hear. Anterior placenta mum so I was surprised I managed to fine his beat within a few minutes.

The 8 week peak šš¤Æ
I thought we peaked at 6 weeks but leading up to 8 weeks my baby is putting me through it omggg! The crying, the fussing, the fighting sleep, the extra clingy-ness, it went up x10 this week. Every day this week Iāve had to order food because I couldnāt even get 5 minutes to prepare something. Then Iām eating with him literally on my chest. And this is whilst in the trenches of maternity pay may I add. Thankfully my mom is having him tonight so I can have break but then I feel like Iām still not going to get any sleep because Iāll miss him š
Anyway my logic is since it has gotten worse it can only get better! How is everyone elseās 6-8 week stage going?

Frequently going to the toilet š©
TMI š Iām 38 weeks and for the past week or so Iāve been constantly going to the toilet to š© Iāve seen and heard a lot of people say that itās your bodyās way of telling you that itās preparing for labour due to hormones etc but I donāt know how much more I can take!! šš¤£ My belly is constantly in pain. Iāll go to the toilet then half an hour later Iāll be running back to the loo. Did anyone else experience this towards the end of their final trimester?? I havenāt lost my mucas plug or anything like that, just have a constant pressure on my š± which has caused swelling, been leaking more colostrum than normal and struggling to sleep. If anyone has experienced this, how long did it take you to go into labour? Praying I donāt go over my due date š¤£

Rushing into a D&C?
I feel like doctors are rushing my sister into a D&C. She had her first appointment and ultrasound on Wednesday. She thought she was 7 weeks 2 days, but she was measuring 6 weeks 3 days. There was no heartbeat. They scheduled another scan to confirm only two days later on Friday (also seems way too soon to me!). There still wasnāt a heartbeat, so theyāve scheduled a D&C on Mondayā¦I just really feel like they didnāt give it enough time. If she ovulated later than expected, measuring a week behind isnāt a big deal. And I also feel like itās not super uncommon for a heartbeat to not be detectable that early. Please comment any personal experiences or advice. I havenāt said any of this to her yet because I donāt want to be insensitive. She really wanted this baby and is having a hard time with all this.
