My son is almost two months. I’m just feeling extremely lonely lately. I’m basically home Monday to Friday and Saturday from 8:30 am to 7:30 pm. I put baby to bed every night rinse and repeat. My boyfriend is at a concert tonight and I can’t help but feel extremely sad, lonely, and resentful. I have a pit in my stomach. I also miss my bf as we barely see one another , talk , or sleep in same bed since baby. Do things get better? It really bothers me that dads just resume as normal. 😭 just needed to vent. If anyone feels same please let me know so I don’t feel so alone.

I’m so sorry. He’s so inconsiderate for going to the concert while you’re home trying to make it through postpartum. Start going out, taking the babe for walks, take the baby to grab coffee or whatever your fav drink is, take care of yourself and make sure you look good all the time. If you look good, you feel good. You matter mom 🤍🌸 I’m proud of you for getting this far.

I feel you, I felt so lonely the first couple months. I had a baby in May 2025, but I just wanted to tell you that it does get better. You might get overwhelmed sometimes, but it definitely gets better and I’m sorry you are going through this. Maybe talk to your bf about it? Let him know how you feel. It really bothered me that my bfs life barely changed and he had more freedom. It’s def hard to find yourself again, I wish I could say more to help, but you are definitely not the only one.
I look at friends without kids or just 1 child and see the freedom it gives them and I'm really questioning my life choices. Toddler stage with multiples is so hard. I'm tired. I just want to get on a plane and go away and escape.

(Don't hate me for saying the C word in September!! 🤣)
My son (10 month) is starting nursery next month and I'm just wondering, is it the done thing to by the nursery staff Xmas gifts? I'm trying to get all Christmas presents sorted early before the childcare expenses start coming 🤣

What’s everyone getting their little ones for their birthday?! (I know I can’t believe I am asking this 😱😭). Big or small presents, what have you bought? Or even prior to their bday, is there anything you guys have bought and loved for your little ones! ☺️

So sharing with you guys lol!

I have posted a few times on here about same thing but I've gone back this week after my 3rd mat leave and I'm just... I'm broken..I'm so upset
It's NOT the kids , it's the system . It's broken. I can't fix it.
It's killing me watching it fail the SEND kids and all the non- SEND kids too. As well as not being able to be there for my own kids. There but not present. My head's elsewhere
I am really upset because my passion is prob what was getting me thru the last 5 years but my passion is dwindling.
What jobs do ex teachers do? How do I even begin
.
I don't want self employed. I need a steady, consistent wage. We have 2 young children and childcare to pay for. I need to bribg minimum £1000 in to pay bills excuding childcare. My partner's place are always doing restructures which so far he's been safe for. And our mortgage needs renewing in Jan. Also teachers can only hand in their notice 3 times a year, not any time of year
It's all I've ever done since I left school myself at 18 and I'm 40 now.
