early labour ?

39 weeks- So this morning I woke up with wet underwear and a big wet patch on the bed with bad cramps!
went to hospital not my waters broken but very watery discharge 2cm dilated and a very thin cervix they said. Was sent home.
since then I’ve been in pain on and off all day I’m tracking contractions now they’re every 8 minutes lasting around a minute.
scared to just be sent home again if I call the hospital any advice ? anyone been in a similar situation?

Call, tell them how far apart and see what they say.

Generally they won't want you there until the pain is unbearable and contractions are close together.

I would just call them 😊 no need to be scared! They won't mind whatsoever

Baby dropping?

Idk if it matters but I feel like my baby has dropped a bit? My pelvis aches more and my bladder seems sensitive/like I have to go more often. So excited now! Also has anyone had a discussion with their midwife or doctor about a membrane sweep? I was curious to ask my midwife some questions about it.

Post c section healing..

I’m not sure if it’s because I went into spontaneous labour before my planned c section or what but has anyone else suffered pain wise post c section? It’s only day 4 but honestly struggling with the pinching/ jolt stabbing pain on the left side of my incision when I move around and sit down. I know it’s only day 4 but people make out c sections are ‘easy’. Also have such horrendous tailbone pain (which could be from where I was having back contractions). I just want to feel back to normal and feel this is slightly taking away the newborn experience plus my toddler has reduced play from me as I can barely function 😩

Going to an event out of town at 35 weeks

I have a friends wedding which is about a 3hr drive away. Is this cutting it too close to due date to be travelling away from hospital? I could try drive there and back in a day. Not sure what the protocol is so any advice would be great.

I’m sitting here chilling at 34 weeks and I see people announcing their October babies in September! One lady posted ‘if your 34 weeks this is what your baby looks like right now’ whiles holding her October 2026 in September 🤯
